I liked the customer service and the room was clean. My only concern and complaint was the mattress was obviously old and smelled like smoke and dog. I actually didn’t sleep well due to the smell. Also there was no small refrigerator in my room, which would have been helpful. Other than the disgusting mattress it was a decent property. Most likely won’t go again though.

This hotel is actually two, a four seasons and a Radisson put together becoming 1 hotel just a month ago so there’s lots of changes happening. Things are being fixed and staff are being changed but the room.was great and the bed the best and besides a full hotel it was very quiet in the room. Yogesh the Mgr, try’s very hard to resolve issues shud they come up. I wud certainly stay again because I rested so well.

This property was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. The signage at the hotel did not match the information listed on Expedia, which created confusion upon arrival. The internet in my room did not work, the refrigerator was nonfunctional, and the bedside light bulb was out. The room itself was not clean, and the overall condition of the property reflected a clear lack of maintenance and attention to detail. The management and operation of the hotel felt very unprofessional and disorganized. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend this property.”

I didn’t like the breakfast was over at nine. Most hotels breakfast is over at 10 and I got locked out of my room and had to call for maintenance. They got it unlocked, but it was just so weird that the flat was on the door and no one was in the room.

The room was very clean and comfortable, we had a king bed with a pull out sofa and we had plenty of room. Plus the bathroom and shower were very nice. The signage coming into the hotel is incredibly confusing, as the signs on the side of the building say Four Points by Sheraton, the decals on the front door say Surface Inn, and there were multiple signs at the front desk saying that we had to check in at the Radisson front desk next door. This wasn’t true, as we had to check in at the Surface front desk, since they couldn’t do the room keys at the other front desk. There also wasn’t bedding for the pull out bed in the room, and the multiple times we went to the front desk to ask for bedding there was no one there. Altogether a comfortable, affordable stay, but there is work to be done to actually make it the Surface Boutique Hotel.

This was a confusing place to stay at and there was an issue with what I was charged to stay. Apparently, this property is owned by Radisson, which was the name on the building. Surface Hotel was on the other side (back of building) and there was a small etching only on the window identifying it. You could not enter through the door where the Surface sign was. Further, you had to walk all the way around to the other side (the Radisson side) to check in and check out. Very inconvenient. The accommodation itself was adequate, nothing fancy, but acceptable. The staff was generally friendly, some very friendly and nice. Finally, there was an issue with what I was charged. There was an add-on charge of a $7.00 "Facility Fee" that I had to pay and then dispute with my credit card company. This charge was NOT included in what Expedia told me that I was to pay. When I tried to get the charge taken off, the staff would not accommodate and remove the charge. So, for these reasons, I would not stay here again, given the opportunity.

TL,DR: If you want cheap, you'll get it. It's two hotels operating in the same building but using only the door on the Radisson side and (mostly?) only the desk on the Radisson side. You have to walk across to the other side if you are staying in Surface and the signage is just one small one outside the door you can't use and one at the start of the ground floor hallway for that side of the building. My room was fine and maybe cleaner than I expected after seeing the rest but half the lights didn't work and there are no built in outlets on or near the nightstands. I saw no evidence that anyone ever actually eats in the restaurant or drinks at the bar other than a girl counting cash behind the bar late one night that *may* have been tips. There was no wifi that I found at the time but someone from the owner's family or an uncle or someone was trying to put in wireless routers in the ceiling and working very strange hours (read sometimes the middle of the night making noise in the hallway outside my room/arguing with someone else). At least the AT&T signal was good enough. Just a really weird situation operating two businesses out of the same space. The physical location is also inconvenient to get back onto the interstate as you need to either make a U-turn or spend time going around the next block to get back to an on-ramp the way the roads are laid out. There are so many other hotels on Meridian right there that I'd probably just pick one of them.

Absolutely lovely hotel and staff. My second time visiting and it’s the only place I’ll stay in OKC moving forward. Mattress is better than my king at home. Stocked bar, great rates. Owner is a great guy.

I’m sure the property will be fine once the remodel or change of ownership is complete but as of now this place is actually mediocre at best. The rooms are dimly lit at best. Some of the lights in the room were not even working. There were extension cords throughout the hallway powering what appeared the WIFI routers for the building. You never knew where the front desk was located was it on the property I booked or the property it joined. I will not be using this property in November when I return to the area for the AQHA World Show.

The hotel was great! Nice, clean and a great price. The hotel was not the problem!! Hotels.com totally sucks ass. I paid for my room in advance and they felled to notify the hotel. Got me on the phone with them at 1 o’clock in the morning (At the hotel lobby) for a whole hour just to get it cleared up. Never using Hotels.com again.

It wasnt a bad place to stay. However it is not a boutique hotel. Be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo and towel. They do provide towels but they are very small. They do not provide airport shuttles in the evenings.
