Casa Lidia is absolutely wonderful. Senora Flor and Tonio are incredible hosts and the rest of the staff kind and make a wonderful breakfast - honestly a highlight of my food experience. Room is clean, homey, comforting, good sleep and ambient. The building is beautiful in a nice neighborhood and nice and quiet. I was taking a Spanish intensive and it was the perfect base to do coursework and then explore the city. You will get recommendations from Flor and a map and I highly recommend chatting and learning more - she shared a Carnival happening the weekend I was there and it was amazing!

This really is a hidden gem surrounded by great little restaurants, Cafes, shops and is about a 20min walk to the zocalo. The staff was awesome and always available and knowledgeable of the area. I’ll be staying here again in the near future.
