The location is very close to Piedmont and Lake Merritt and all of the wonderful restaurants/shops. We appreciated the designated, secure parking on the premises as sometimes street parking can get crowded. The condo definitely served our needs. The kitchen had everything we needed but admittedly, we did minimal cooking - the cafes were a big draw! The bed is comfortable, leans more towards soft but worked for one of us who prefers a firmer bed. The rooms are spacious; plenty of space in the bedroom to accommodate luggage and move around easily. The bathroom is small but worked out fine. We liked having the large vanity and sink separate from the toilet/tub area. Check in/out are easy and Riza responded quickly. We would stay here again!

Riza and Miguel were very responsive and the condo was very comfortable. The most important thing for me was that the sheets and towels were laundered with unscented detergent! We also really appreciated off street parking since street parking is very crowded.

The unit was OK but was located in a very old building. There was an awful stale smell walking into the lobby. The parking was secure but getting our small car into the stall took 5 minutes. It;s located between a pillar and the wall, just inside the gate. The washer/dryer was out of order. The neighborhood was very sketchy. We won't be staying at this location again.

Great Oakland Condo

Very nice, centrally located condo in Oakland off 580. Easy freeway access to go anywhere. Safe, secure building and very quiet. There is a parking garage and you will be very happy to have it as street parking is limited. The garage can be a little intimidating at first to get into the parking space but follow instructions to circle through the garage and then pull into the space. We fit our Jeep Gladiator into the space with no problem. The condo is very spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My son recently moved to the area and this will be our go to place to stay when visiting. Thank you Riza for a wonderful stay!

Perfect location and safe!

Very thorough information was provided for the stay. While the decor was simple and maybe a bit of sprucing up might be nice, it was clean and had what we needed. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. It helped that we felt secure in knowing that oir rental car was safely tucked in the gated parking garage. We were in town for a wedding and this rental drew our attention because of thecomment around secure parking.

Great place in a great location

This place has the classic look and feel of a modern Oakland apartment building that is just the right balance between centrally located and private. I felt such a home, I wish I had booked a few more days (or weeks!). The hosts, Riza & Miguel, were absolutely fabulous, very accommodating and communicated quickly and kindly - I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The proximity to Piedmont was so nice, just being able to walk down the hill and browse the many local shops and restaurants was great. I forgot how nice it was to live so close to Piedmont Ave, and I think it's gotten even nicer since I lived there 10 years ago. All around, I had a great stay and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, clean, chill place in one of the best spots to live in the Bay Area.

Great location

The location is fabulous to easily get to Piedmont Ave. where the neighborhood is thriving with great restaurants, drugstore, grocery store, coffee cafes. The condo is very comfortable and is well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped for meal preparation. Thoughtful amenities made for a very pleasant stay.

Spacious

I needed to be very near another home in the area. I felt comfortable walking the 3 blocks in broad daylight but not at all at night. I am a retired solo traveler which should be taken into account as far as safety goes. The apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. I loved that light switches were labeled for ease of use. Also bedside lamps had outlets making charging a breeze. The building was quiet with very little road traffic from the busy avenue right out front. Would recommend normal for big city

Exceptional Oakland Condo

I was so glad to find this cozy, well-appointed condo in such a great location. The unit is nicely updated, clean, and quiet, and is an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Hosts Riza and Miguel are great at communicating and staying in touch to make sure everything is going well. I highly recommend it and would love to stay here again if I return to the area.

Another great stay

Everything about our stay was top-notch. This is our second time here and we will definitely be back. Everything was easy, including an accommodation for arriving a little past their check- in window. The super plus part is the secure parking space! Super comfortable bed and kitchen that is well-equipped for our cooking needs.

Great spot

My wife and I live in New York, and we visit our daughter in Oakland occasionally, so we’ve tried several VRBOs in Oakland, and this was definitely the nicest! Great bed, well equipped kitchen, excellent location… we hope to stay again!

Great stay and definitely coming back here

Riza was a great host. She let me check in early as I arrived earlier than expected. She was in contact with us throughout the stay to make sure everything was going well. The apartment was very clean and the neighbors were nice people, even saying good morning to you. I will definitely get this place again as it was very comfortable and very quite.

Comfortable and Relaxing

The property owner was so very excellent in responding and communicating throughout the process. Condo is in a quiet, nice neighborhood and we definitely appreciated the secure parking in the building. The space is great for a couple wanting to relax and explore the Bay Area. Oakland visit

We were in Oakland to visit our daughter who lives in this neighborhood. This property exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and convenient! Our hosts were in contact often in case we needed something. The parking space was such a nice convenience and we would definitely recommend this space!

Great location and experience

We were visiting our daughter and Riza’s apartment was within walking distance of her house. Check- in and unloading was easy and the garage parking spot was VERY helpful for us. Kitchen is well- stocked with all we needed for meals we made. The bed was very comfortable - this is always a plus for us. Over all a great experience!

Convenient appartment in a residential neighborhood

The appartment is located in a residential area in Oakland. We used it as a base for our SF tours. It's close to MacArthur BART station and it takes 20-30 minutes to arrive in Embarcadero. You can park your car at that Station for 3 dollars a day and pay 4 dollars for BART. It's still cheaper than the alternatives. Riza's place was cozy and easily accessible. It had everything we needed for a short stay. Only issue we had was with the washing machine in the flat. Yet there is laundry in the building. Don't forget to take some quarters with you to the laundry room.

Great visit

I would absolutely come back the next time I visit the bay area. The condo was clean and spacious and the secure parking gave me great piece of mind on my stay. The walk to the BART was short and had some good coffee shops on the way.
