Hand to everything in Oaks Bluff

"Perfect spot for a working vacation! The property is conveniently located near Oak Bluffs and comes with plenty of amenities. The kitchen was especially impressive—well-stocked and made us feel right at home."

Nice vacation

Oak Bluffs is a beautiful place. The home was perfect for us with two bathrooms and a kitchen open to the living room. We only used two out of three bedrooms. We walked to town which was about one and a half miles.

Cute Vineyard Home

We enjoyed the property. It was nicely updated throughout from kitchen to bathrooms and three bedrooms. The living space had comfy couches and we enjoyed hanging out. It is not really close to the water without a car, but with a car only a 5-7 minute ride to both Oak Bluffs Center and Vineyard Haven.

Great house, zero communication

We very much enjoyed the house and location. There was plenty of room, the covered patio was a great spot to spend time outside and it is a short drive to Oak Bluffs. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Our kids loved the bunk beds. Unfortunately, we had some concerns that were never addressed. Communication with Vacasa, the rental management company, was poor/nonexistent. We sent two basic questions. In both cases, the receipt of the question was immediately acknowledged with an auto-response, however, neither question was ever answered over our two-week stay. Our second concern related to the shared space with the tenant who rents the basement unit. This detail is buried in the listing info, and we were surprised as we had expected to have the whole house to ourselves (per the listing type). The tenant was friendly, but it’s important to know that they can access the house from the basement, so make sure to lock the basement door. Again, it didn’t help that Vacasa didn’t respond to our question about this.

Great vacation

The property was perfect. It had everything we needed. A bit far from town but bikes and a car made it easy. Was nice to get away from the crowds and unplug.

Relaxing house

Decor and cleanliness outstanding. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable living room. Kitchen well supplied. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. Queen beds adequate- not very comfortable. Overall good time

Comfortable house but some issues

We had a very nice stay at the house - it was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we had a lot of trouble getting into the house due to a broken lock - this proved to be a repeated significant and stressful problem every time we arrived / departed the house throughout our stay. Additionally, there were no smoke detectors in the house which was both dangerous and upsetting.

Second time staying here; Another excellent time

This is my second time staying at this rental, this time we got to stay for two weeks. We had a fabulous time. It was a spotless space, is in a great location and we had everything that we needed. It was a great experience.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay at the Island Breeze property on Martha’s Vineyard but had a few issues. We were giving the wrong access number for the door lock and it took about 2 hours to gain access to the home. There was little to no cell service at the house which made it impossible to call the management company for assistance. A kindly older neighbor let us use his landline at about 10pm. The smoke detector woke us up one night at 2am because the batteries needed changing. Other than that the home and management company were great.

Cozy Cottage Convenient to Everything

I like the updated bathroom and kitchen. Towel sets were individually wrapped and waiting. So were a few toiletries and kitchen items. Mattresses were small for a couple to sleep comfortably. The home and blankets in the living room chest had a smell, perhaps from previous pets and a stench in the basement. I bought candles and kept the windows open as much as possible despite the cold. Bikes in the shed are provided for borrowing. They need repair; the bike chain got off track during a ride to the lagoon and the kickstand wouldn’t come up. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would return.
