Tanika and Violet working the front desk when we arrived were excellent. In all our stays at othet hotels, we have never experienced two friendly, knowledgeable and professional employees ever. Definitely keepers. The views fron the 28th floor and the Vue bar were fantastic.

The overall hotel inside is fine, the front desk staff is phenomenal, the rooms were clean and not bad. There are no views in certain parts of where you stay. We had a view of a brick wall for the building next door. (This is of course on the lower floors). The outside area, I must say was unpleasant for anyone traveling with a family. Walking the streets to get to some of manhattan nicer areas can cause anxiety especially for children. If you don’t mind that and just want a good hotel inside then it was okay for me. It’s NYC areas can be rough. My review is more for families looking to get the full experience this hotel is not truly near time square it’s a few blocks down from it it’s not directly near time square which is what we thought.

LOVED the hotel. It was within walking distance (with luggage) to Penn Station, Moynihan Trail Hall and the Bus dept. We came in from Newark and took the train to Penn station. We used the bus to go to a concert in NJ and we used Amtrak from Moynihan Train station to go to our next destination. This hotel location was absolutely perfect for us. We felt safe 100% of the time walking around as a small town midwestern family. We LOVED the roof top bar but the drink prices were hard to swallow. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel at this location to anyone traveling to NYC. Thank you for a great stay!

Nicely located to the Times Square, Maddison Square Garden, Penn station, and many city top spots. The only downfall, this area seemed to have a lot of aggressive homeless and druggies so walking could be sketchy at times until you hit Times Square.
