This hotel has no front desk. They do have someone there that can answer questions and they are helpful but no front desk. Also this is an hold hotel. The electrical outlets were not convenient in any way. Small rooms. We would not stay there again

The property description is extremely misleading. There is no lobby to wait in or anywhere to sit. The room is cute and the bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom is like a Motel 6. This is quite a disgrace for a hotel with an 8.8 rating. The other hotels in the area that were similar price and ratings are much better quality. I’m not sure how they pulled this off. The hotel is very rustic and old and outdated. It’s in a great location in my opinion far enough away from the chaos but close enough to walk. It would not take a lot to upgrade this bathroom or at the very least the shower head, why is it so old? From the pictures there seemed to be a nice outside seating area, a nice restaurant and a lobby to sit I arrived at 11 AM and was told that check-in wouldn’t be until 4 PM. However they did manage to get me in by 1pm. Thank goodness. But I was incomplete shock to have nowhere to even sit. This was very overwhelming and disturbing to say the least. Everything is pretty clean for how old it is, but it is very thick carpet and thick curtains so who knows.. I just think the hotel should have better more accurate pictures, so that the stay is not such a shock. Staff were all very nice!

Clean and nice, and the staff was as helpful as they could be. Unfortunately, beeping from an alarm in the room kept me awake all night. No maintenance crew could arrive until morning to fix it, so I spent a sleepless night there. Things happen - I understand that - but I expected an appropriate refund and instead received $20, which I had to argue for. I see that as terrible customer service. I paid for a good night’s sleep, they didn’t deliver, and kept my hard-earned money anyway. Totally unacceptable. I won’t be staying there again, which is unfortunate because it’s a nice place in a great location. But you can’t treat people that way.

Room was as advertised. Hotel has few amenities, but I knew that going in. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice. I stayed 4 days, I didn’t see a single staff person till the check out. I left early every morning and was out till late afternoon, never anyone at the desk. But I never needed anything so it wasn’t a problem. We checked in online and got a PIN number to our room, no key card. The trolley goes by every half hour or so, it’s very loud, but it is a city.

The location is fantastic - close to a large grocery store and walkable to convention center and many fun places. Although the carpet is a bit old, the rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were super friendly.

Went into the bar at 3:30pm to wait a half an hour and they shooed us out saying not open until 4pm even when we told them we had stayed at the hotel. Waiting for our transportation to Train Station. There is no parking available, be prepared to pay $50 a day for valet parking. We stayed for 3 days. The bed was not made the next day, towels were not replaced. Guest Elevator was used for their staff to transport chairs which we waited and they seemed not care for their guests. Not impressed at all. Shower was not draining properly and room look outdated.

Overall, this was a really great hotel to stay! It’s close to everything you need, but it’s not nearly as noisy and chaotic as staying in the French Quarter would be. You can actually get some sleep at night haha! We stayed on the 6th floor, which was nice as it’s the highest floor. The only “negative” thing is our Room 604 was a little damaged in a few places - the shower curtain was broken, the bathroom door wouldn’t close or lock, and the windows looked quite dirty. Otherwise, it was a super pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend.

We loved the easy check in process and the room (king suite) was well appointed. I’m unsure about maid service though as we stayed from Sunday to Thursday and the room was cleaned only on Tuesday. The HVAC vent blew directly on the bed (room 602) which I didn’t care for. The room and bathroom were both spacious and the coffee in the room was excellent. We would stay there again!
