My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin and the Wimberly area. The cabin was ready, clean and comfortable and the fenced area around the cabin was perfect for our senior dog! We also used the hot tub multiple times and greatly enjoyed the starry nights with much less light pollution than we are used to living near Dallas. I also enjoyed walking/hiking on the 60 acres surrounding the cabin. If you are seeking peace and quiet just a short drive from Wimberly, this is your place. Peace, Scott

Wonderful in every way! Comfortable sofas and bed. Secluded and peaceful. Loved the hot tub and lounging on the large porch! Our dog was in heaven roaming leash free which he can never do at home. We are already planning to return in winter to use the beautiful fireplace!

The property is nice upon arrival. The descriptions of being out by yourself and enjoying the stars is accurate. The hot tub is an excellent way to relax in the evenings.The downside. The kitchen is outdated badly with multiple cabinets falling apart. The counter tops have burn areas from pots being set on them. Ants. The entire kitchen area was a constant fight with ants. We kept everything clean and still fought ants.

A trip starts with the property manager - and I was so happy with the dialogue, flexibility and info provided by Alyssa and her team. It made the trip much easier given we had different groups with different arrival times.The property - WOW. This gem was perfect for our needs… we couldn’t see (or hear) any neighbors, traffic, or anything but nature! We loved the front porch, the fire pit, the artwork and more. COMFY beds meant everything!! We hope to be able to stay there again and see even MORE shooting stars while soaking in the hot tub. A perfect space for anyone with weekend wimberley plans

In general the property was nice and our stay was good. Pros:-seclusion, quietness and privacy-hot tub and spacious deckCons:-needs better cleaning (dirt here and there, especially in the living room, you have a feeling everything was covered in dust)-need improvements on the house (one part of a roof was loosen and it was that type of metal roof plate, and becaue it was windy it was banging against the roof frame all the times, quite annoying especially during nighttime, not to say it can be dangerous; deck needs repairs, the boards are deteriorating and aren't even anymore)-lawn wasn't taken care of, so it was quite tall-weird behavior of the owner/management company: they kept calling/messaging frequently about sending the insurance agents on the property to check the house, during our stay, or sending a landscape company to make evaluation on the lawn, during our stay .Weird. Overall we had a good time staying there, but the property needs upgrades. 4 out of 5.
