It is a very cute location. We did have a few problems but the management company did their best to get them fixed right away. (shout out to Zack & Jack for their help.) We enjoy ourselves even with the cold weather.

Beautiful views. House needs some repairs. Hot tub temp uncontrollable. Sink leaks and makes slip hazard in bathroom. No coffee (VRBO standards). Managed by property company so no personal services provided, simple ask for birthday flowers to be at property could not be accomplished. Don’t expect quick response to question.

While we love the property, we feel that it is not being properly maintained. Dead bugs, spider webs, and simple cleaning tasks were neglected. It wouldn't hurt to have more glasses available in the kitchen and the window panes cleaned. But more importantly, the pool really needs to have the bottom cleaned and repainted. The blinds need repairing, the window frames in places are rusting, the upstairs shower water pressure is a joke, and walls need repainting in many spots. This might seem picky, but it's a shame that these things are noticeable for a place that is lovely overall and costs a lot to stay in.

Disappointing

Pictures of this property were very deceptive. This property is not maintained. There was dirt and dead bugs on the floor all along the be base of the windows. The spa tub on the upper level does not work and was full of leaves and broken parts, the pool was full of leaves and other debris. Can’t believe no one bothered to clean the pool before arriving. Outdoor sitting areas were extremely dirty and unmaintained. This property extremely overpriced for what you actually get. Also, the hot tub by the master bedroom was dirty and the cover was falling apart.

Very Special!

Beautiful property! Fascinating and interesting architecture—loved getting to see it in person. We did not try using the hot tub or jacuzzi tub, so we can’t report on those. All else worked fine. Not all was pristine, but we did little cooking, so not a problem for us. Good satellite TV. Good cellular service. The sunrise was beautiful—we were disappointed in not having coffee while watching the sunrise. So bring coffee! We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Beautiful property, very poorly maintained.

This property has so much potential, but is very poorly maintained. When we arrived, my husband and I spent two hours cleaning the pool. We then had to spend an additional 3 hours cleaning the fridge, bath tub, shower, shower head (which was so full of build up, we had to poke a toothpick through each individual hole to make it work properly). The inside of the home was full of spiders, the AC filters have very obviously not been maintained. Overall, the property is in very poorly maintained condition to the point we wound up leaving a day early (Sunday instead of Monday). Again, so beautiful, and so much potential, but the effort to maintain is not there.

Fantastic stay, room for it to be truly amazing!

Let me first start out by saying. This is a truly remarkable property and place to stay. From the location, the views, and the house itself. You don’t find something like this being able to be rented. Now let me say how this rental could even be more amazing… First of all, if there could be wi-fi added. You are in a remote area and reception is spotty. The hot tub next to the door leading into the kitchen. If that was functional, talk about a really beautiful view that also is on the main level of the house! The pool is not heated, however, it looks like at one point it was as there still is heating equipment outside, just not connected. The cooler weather days, this would make it enjoyable to be in the pool without freezing. Lastly, if there was washer/dryer available for use, especially if the stays last longer than a few days. Like I previously said, it was a great time overall and would stay again. Highly recommend!
