Couples get away

Enjoyed the cabin. Great location well stocked very quiet. I wish the water pressure would have been a little better but other than that i will stay here again!

Great stay!

The property was great - the only slight issue was that the coffee makers weren't clean. The drip coffee maker had old grounds in the water tank, and the water tanl on the K-Cup coffee maker was kinda gross. Not a huge deal and by no means a deal-breaker. We would definitely stay there again - we'll just bring our own coffee maker.

Just What We Needed

This was a wonderful weekend getaway for me and my daughter. The cabin was quaint and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather and we enjoyed the back porch as well as the front swing. The town was decorated so cute, the shop owners were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We were excited to spot the fox trotting through the trees one morning.

Cozy Cabin

We are a family of four with two kids under 6. For us, the cabin was perfect. It was clean and had everything you need besides a dishwasher. Had a small issue with hot water but they jumped on it and had it repaired before we made it back to the cabin later that evening. We would stay again

Calm, quiet and beautiful

We loved our stay here! The property is exactly as it's listed here. The only problem we had was the kitchen light that wasn't working. Other than that we found the place safe. Although there's no cell network available here the wifi internet connection was rock solid.

Great place

We stayed two nights. Great cabin and the scenery is beautiful. The second day we were there the AC quit and it was 104 outside - they sent someone out and we got it fixed and had a cool night! They were very good to patient to work with and we will be back! Thank you

Nice Property

This was a very quiet little place of a beaten path. I wouldn't say you were out all by yourself because it was a country neighborhood but it was still private. Plenty of deer in the morning and evening. Enjoyed it very much!!!

Spring break getaway

We loved this cabin! It was so peaceful sitting outside under the trees. The inside of the cabin was cozy and comfortable with lots of amenities. We could have easily stayed a week here. The only small negative was the bed. It was really, really firm, but I loved that it was a king sized bed. The giant dining table was also a plus. Location to Wimberley, canyon lake and dripping springs was ideal. Truly loved it. We'll be back!

Great cottage

This rustic cabin in the woods is very comfortable and cozy. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. We loved sitting on the screened porch in the morning with our coffee. So many stars are visible at night which made it nice to sit on the swing and just enjoy the peacefulness. Just what we needed!

Anniversary Stay

Wife and I wanted to get away for a few days and saw nothing but good reviews. Our eyes lit up when we entered the property for the first time. Perfect and cozy are just 2 of the words that on how I would describe this property. We will definitely be looking into it again when we make another trip down here.

Perfext getaway

I wanted a quiet trip with my family before our son's football practice, then school started. The cabin was clean, nice and secluded. But it was only about a 10 minute drive to Wimberley with everything we needed, or an hour to Austin. We had a great time and are already planning our next stay.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was exactly as advertised. Very clean with lots of toiletries. Kitchen has everything you need and then some. They even had charcoal & lighter fluid for the outside grill! The bed is very comfortable. The screened in porch was very nice for morning coffee, and the internet worked great. Unfortunately the a/c quit working on our first night and we cut our trip short by two days. After trying to report the a/c problem to the property manager five times (nobody would pick up the phone) we ended up calling the owner. He was fabulous and contacted the property manager right away. Four hours later I had not heard from the property manager and called again only to learn the a/c could not be fixed until the next afternoon. (they claim they had the wrong phone number & did not try to email us or communicate through VRBO app) It was hotter in the cabin than outside and we packed our bags and left. I texted, emailed and communicated to the property manager that we were leaving. The next day I received a response stating they were not aware of any issues with the a/c! They did credit me for two nights, but their poor communication ruined our little twenty year anniversary get-a-way. Again, the cabin is beautiful and well equipped. The owner tried his best, even coming over himself.
