Hello. Prior to our arrival, I received an email notifying me of a refund being issued (272.50) back to me due to a basement flood. No further context was provided. No word about whether or not the basement was unusable or not. Upon arrival, we found the basement carpet was totally removed, furniture all pushed up against the beds, and the strong smell of wet, musty conditions. Our group size meant some of us would need to stay in the basement beds. This was very disappointing. As a landlord, I would never offer such a small credit to a tenant who'd expected use of a basement bunk room on a holiday weekend. 1000 would be more appropriate. Family members were forced to sleep in the bunks, moving all of furniture (couches, TV, book shelf) out of the way in order to access the beds. We made due, but if it tells you about our stay, we left Sunday morning due to the conditions being inadequate. A full day early. We didn't spend over 4k Labor Day weekend to be forced to sleep in a wet basement that hadn't been prepared for guests. Again, we feel strongly that the 270 credit was inadequate for the huge inconvenience this put us in. There were plenty of ways to try to make this right. We'd appreciate a substantially larger refund for our disappointing stay. The property otherwise is located near downtown Naples and on a quiet lake as advertised. The driveway isn't marked very well so it can be challenging to locate in the dark on such a high speed road. Thank you for your time.

Great location-

Great location on the lake. Close to the center of Naples and Lake Sebago. When we got there it was very clean and they had great welcome starter kits for the kitchen and bathrooms. I would say the only reason I did not rate it a 5 is the smell in the basement and some of the comforters. The basement which has a couch and 2 twin bunk beds had a musty smell. We didn’t need to use the basement. I’d stay here again.

Great location! Trickey Pond is perfect for swimming and hanging out. The layout was ideal for our family get-together, as each small group has their own space. Would recommend for a laid back lake trip!

Water’s Edge Stay

Having rented several awesome properties with Vrbo in the past, we were disappointed with this rental. Although, the house and property are beautifully situated on the pond.Our guests in the upstairs bedroom had to catch a mouse and dispose of it. Day 2 there was a cockroach in the upstairs bathroom. Several of the kitchen drawers had crumbs and small dead bugs in them. Large cobwebs around the fireplace and other places. Didn’t have to look very hard to see any of this. Again, disappointed with this rental.

Better than advertised!

My friends and I do an annual golf trip every year to a different destination. There are eight of us in the group. This place was absolutely perfect! The pictures don’t do it justice. Nice open concept, kitchen and living room very inviting. On the Pond is a nice size that all eight of us could sit on to hang out. They really should include a panoramic picture of the pond from the living room and another panoramic picture of the open concept, kitchen and living room.

Naples me house

Beautiful, very clean, accommodating, especially ramp because we have a 17 yr old handicap granddaughter, comfortable, room for family . Lake was wonderful, refreshing, clean and quiet. Boats floating on water were nice to watch and relax. Definitely a place to rent again.

Ant Infested Rental!

This was the worst rental experience we have ever had. There were large Carpenter Ants (and their poop) falling from the ceiling onto the bed in the Master Bedroom. When we arrived, we found them in the sheets and they kept coming, a handful every couple hours. Sort of like a leaky roof with ants slowly dripping out. It was so gross that we had to move the bed, just to sleep and hope that they would instead fall on the carpet. After 2 days of no response from Vacasa, I finally heard from someone who did very little to help problem solve. In fact, he was rude and hard to communicate with. After a couple days of trying to get the situation fixed, there wasn’t a solution other than exterminating the ants. We decided to take the suggestion from the local operations manager to check out early and seek a refund for the last couple nights of our reservation, so we opted to check out early. If this wasn’t bad enough, the kitchen is barely stocked, with flimsy bowls and broken equipment. The beds are uncomfortable. Overall the house feels like minimal effort was put into making it a comfortable stay. Also, leaving the house is dangerous as you are blindly looking both ways as cars drive by at 50mph (and you can hear these cars all day long, so it’s not remotely peaceful or serene). Renter be warned! Don’t let this house ruin your Maine vacation like it did ours!!

The location was great, rooms were comfortable, view was beautiful and the porch was comfortable. The lake was perfect. The kitchen could have a little update (ex: add’l pans, frying pan, sortment of utensil). Since there was so many lights they could have been labels. A list of instructions would have been helpful when we were leaving. Like what to do about the bed sheets and bath towels. With all of that said, we would rent the house again.

Wonderful Location

The location is perfect. House is great for families. Only complaint there was dirty towels and a dirty diaper left in one of the rooms. Trash was overflowing called several times because of smell and critters getting into. They finally picked it up our last day there. Overall a great experience.

Disappointed

The property is on a beautiful spot on the lake with an amazing screened in porch. However that is where my excitement ends. There are virtually no serving plates or bowls in the house for meals and very little cooking equipment. There were paper towels and trash bags which was a definite plus. The bathroom doors do not latch so even when you lock them they can be pushed open. When we arrived and started to heat the oven we found a cookie sheet and roasting pan in the oven that were left from the last visitors that were never cleaned. The living area is much smaller than you expect from the pictures. Lastly there is a camera on the property that was not disclosed.

Family Memories

Stayed here with family for my daughters wedding. Lots of memories made with an at home feeling instead of all of us in separate hotel rooms. Property is everything and more. Vasca was wonderful and very attentive. Best part is we were able to keep family traditions of home made dinners in their well stocked kitchen. You will not regret your stay here.

Wedding Weekend

We stayed at this lovely property as it was near where my niece was getting married. This location was perfect for my family of 4, my sister's family of 4 and our parents. It had everything that one would need, very spacious, the ping pong table was a hit and the pond was the cherry on top! We all swam, my son fished from the dock and we spent lot of time on the dock soaking up the sun in between wedding activities! Would definitely recommend to others.

Awesome Stay

The property was plenty roomy enough for 12 guests and there was ample parking. The Lake was beautiful. The only thing missing on this property is a couple of kayaks or Stand up paddle boards.
