Frustrating very frustrating

The property was very nice as was the location. We booked 2 weeks and departed the morning of the12th day. The internet was very lacking. Contacted the host he “tried” working with the satellite company. Even then it would only work for a few minutes. We were supposed to stay 14 days it was so frustrating that I contacted them on the 9th day to say we will be departing on the morning of the 11th day. They said we'll purchase more "time" we were able to watch one movie. Next day it was back to the same problems I called to say we'd be leaving early as we had had it. I said, it wasn't working again to which he said, "I purchased enough time for you to watch 8 movies.” “I said, we'd been able to watch only one.” If you advertised that you have it why would you "Purchase it" during our stay. Never offered any consideration/compensation for the short stay. We used VRBO last year and stayed about a mile away and had no problems.

Nice cabin

The cabin was very nice / clean. At check-in we had a small glitch with the lock code but the owner quickly rectified it within just a few minutes and never had another issue during our stay. The only negative was the internet and it does say in the listing that the internet is spotty. We didn't have too much of an issue using our phones/tablets but it would not connect enough to watch any TV - which was only an issue during the a.m. when I wanted to watch TV while having my coffee.

Very Clean Cabin!

Our family checked in for a short weekend stay. We found the two bedroom/two bathroom setup to be perfect for the four of us. Our host was very easy to communicate with via text and we greatly appreciated the accommodation to our early check in request. This cabin is a great spot for a family looking for a central location to sleep while they explore the area.

Nice cabin, great for a getaway

We’ve been to the Murphy area several times, but this was the first time staying in the cabin. Everything was clean and well organized. The check-in/check-out process was very easy, and the communication with the renter was great. If it had been a little warmer, we likely would have used the back deck, as it is very private and well lit in the evening with the solar lights. The only ‘drawback’ was that the internet is spotty at best, but if you’re looking for time away to reconnect, then that isn’t a big setback. We definitely would stay there again.

Comfortable stay at a great cabin

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was impeccably clean and the memory foam mattress was very comfy. Great access to the cabin and very close to town. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch with a glass of wine taking in the wooded view. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect for Christmas

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. The cabin was exactly like it looked on line it is a beautiful cabin that makes you feel so secluded but only a few minutes drive from town perfect location. The check-in process is easy no hassle. The owners were very nice they got in contact with us to check on us and they even checked on my boyfriend knowing he was going to propose to me to see how it went. We love North Carolina and we will definitely be back there and stay at the same place there's no where else we'd rather stay now. I advise others to stay here I promise you will not be disappointed and you'll find your new favorite place like we have.
