Pluses: the rooms faced a beautifully maintained garden bisected by brick paths. The breakfast room was a graciously appointed room with full length windows, white table cloths, cut fruit on a side tables, and a gourmet breakfast menu with wait staff. Downside: overpriced considering the small, not well-lit, inexpensively appointed rooms. Not much privacy/space between the window and people walking by unless the louvered shade was down & closed.

Wonderful!

Everything was wonderful. I was just passing through town and so glad this is where I stayed. It was clean, comfortable and had a nice charm about it. The staff was super friendly. The little garden area outside was beautiful and the free breakfast was delicious and filling. I plan to make a special weekend trip here sometime soon when I need to just disconnect and spend a peaceful weekend alone away from the hustle and bustle of city life!

Quiet and quaint property just outside of downtown Mount Vernon (can walk to the square-a few blocks).. Courtyard is nice. Made to order breakfast was very nice. Check in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly. Can be a romantic getaway.
