Excellant Place to Stay

Murph's place was everything the description said it is. It was a perfect place for us to relax in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked. We ended up making a contest with our friends to find all the hidden Disney references. Some are easy to spot, but others are more subtle. Thanks for letting us stay here.

One of a kind!!

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay at WVU, especially with the history packed in the house. Joe and Karen take so much pride in their house and when you walk into the house for the first time, you feel so welcomed. Everything was spotless and with the 1,000 labels around the house, you knew where everything was :) The outside fence was perfect for our dogs and they even felt right at home.I would definitely recommend this house to anyone and will stay here again.

Very clean, charming and well appointed home!

We absolutely loved our stay at Murph’s Landing for Decide WVU weekend! From the moment we stepped onto the porch, we could feel the love and history in this beautifully restored home. Joe and Karen have created a warm, clean and welcoming space that honors Murph’s legacy while offering every modern comfort to their visiting guests. Our kids had a blast finding the hidden Disney “Easter eggs" hidden throughout the home, and the house had everything we needed—from clear instructions and thoughtful extras, to streaming apps, fast WiFi, and TVs in every room. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pugs, and we loved winding down on the front porch swing each evening. The location is ideal—just minutes from the stadium, Coliseum, campus, and great dining options at Suncrest Town Center. Joe and Karen’s kindness and personalized hospitality made our trip extra special - we can’t wait to return again in the future! We HIGHLY recommend Murph’s Landing!

Everything you need and more!

Absolutely a great comfortable home! The owners have added so many extras to make it feel like you are home! Attention to detail earns an A+! The owners are beyond accommodating and very nice to work with. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Amazing trip to Morgantown

This was our first trip to Morgantown and it was for my daughter to attend Decide WVU with myself and my oldest daughter along with her. Needless to say it is a YES! When I say that this place is the MOST PERFECT place you could book for your stay, that is probably an understatement. Every single thing you could possibly want is provided in the house as well as providing a place that truly feels like home with love and care shown everywhere. It is extremely clean and very comfortable with perfect beds and cloud like pillows. I am booking our second trip as we speak and cannot wait to come back and stay again in Murphs Landing.

Trip to Morgantown

Very nice property. Extremely clean. They clearly are very proud of their property and Morgantown - they should be. Took great care to ensure everything was in order. My pup and I will definitely be back. Bonus-if you are a WVU fan, lots of great memories on display.

Fabulous

The property was very clean loved the fenced yard for dogs. The most complete stocked kitchen of anywhere I have ever stayed. Very nice cookware and sharp knives! Provides so much more than anywhere I’ve ever been. All I had to do was get groceries. Morphs Landing had it all, plus a wonderful history of the place. I will definitely rent Murphs Landing again. Sweet Morgantown house in a convenient locagtion

The house is in excellent condition, well-maintained, clean and very thoroughly organized and clearly labeled. Fans of WV football will especially love staying here: it was owned by a beloved former cameraman for WVU games, and there are many tributes to him throughout. The place is dog friendly, has pleasant outdoor space and is very comfortable.

Adorable house in a very convenient location

We stayed at the property with our 3 kids and two dogs while visiting family in Morgantown. The house is adorable, very clean and the kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. My kids loved swinging on the front porch swing with their grandma. We will definitely stay at Murph Landing again when we visit Morgantown.

Murph Landing

Joe and Karen have a beautiful home that isn't just well maintained, it's truly loved and it shows. From the artwork and photos on the walls, to the newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom-- no detail has been spared. The home was spotless upon arrival, check-in was extremely simple, and Joe was communicative and accessible during our stay. The cozy bungalow is conveniently located near WVU, the hospital, and the football stadium, with a large shopping center less than a minute down the road. It was an easy drive to Cheat Lake, Cooper's Rock, and the WV Botanic Gardens. And I can't forget how awesome it was to have a fenced in backyard for our two pups to run around. If we ever find ourselves in Morgantown again, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere other than Murph Landing!

Perfect location!

This cozy, cute house had all the amenities needed for our lengthy stay and provided the perfect location to access the hospital in Morgantown for the expected early delivery of our first grandson. The owner, Joe, was super friendly and easy to communicate with. We definitely would recommend this place if you are ever in Morgantown and need a great place to stay!

Wonderful home away from home!

A 5 star rating isn’t enough. This home is at a great location, central to many restaurants, shopping, and the University. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we would ever need for our stay. In fact, we were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner using the very well-appointed kitchen. The owners’ special touches were second to none. One of the best homes we’ve ever rented. We will definitely be back!

Great house great location to WVU

Prime location. Fully stocked, pet friendly house, with fenced in yard for our dog to enjoy, minutes from either WVU campuses, restaurants, food store, etc. Joe & Karen were wonderful hosts. Would definitely recommend & book here again.

Perfect getaway!

The house had everything you could possibly want! Joe was a great host. Make sure you look for the frosted glasses in the freezer drawer! Would definitely book again!
