We had a wonderful week long stay. The house is beautiful and right on the lake, with beautiful views and sunsetsWe were there for a West Point Graduation and was about a 30 minute drive to the school, even on the busy days of the parade and graduation dayThe house had plenty of room for our group and the host was easy to get ahold of. There are 4 official bedroom and 4 bathrooms and a basement and 2 office/den, 2 washer and dryers - one in the top floor and another in the basement which has a game room. All the bedrooms are upstairs. Thee house well well supplied with dishes, kitchen utensils, towels and linens, which is nice if you are flying in like we wereIf you are looking to hang out around the house, the host has a lot to do at the house, with games, bikes, and a paddle boat, a pool and BBQ (although we did not have time to use them, due to our busy schedule)We did go to NYC for 2 days and we decided to drive to the train station and take the train in which was easy to navigate. You will need to rent a car as the house is a few miles to the nearest shopping area, but there were a lot of dining options and stores within that short distance. The house and location feels very safe and everyone in town was nice and helpful The house was well stocked and the host provided nice welcome snacks, juice and coffee
