My first room was as if I was sleeping above a smoke pit (4TH FL RM 415), but I was supposed to be in a non smoking room. I got in very late and was exhausted and got little to no sleep due to getting a migraine from the smell of smoke, which I didn't notice at first. I work 12HR days and so night two was just as worse with the smell of smoke continuing. I went to the front desk to ask for another room because of the smell and they said they could not do anything until the day shift management came in. Day 2 (WED) going into night 3, I get a call to change rooms (4TH FL RM 414). Smell was 100% better and it was also a quieter room; However, I noticed after I switched room that there were no towels in the room. Also, the fridge was frozen over and freezer burnt my left overs. The rooms were not that appealing so something for me to remember when looking at the lower priced rooms, but I needed lodging due to my floors being redone from the Milwaukee floods for where I was staying. It was a pretty tiring week, with little to no sleep and a unpleasant stay overall. I have the pictures as well. Next time I will just have to eat the expense.
