The Setai and location were wonderful. The Setai staff went above and beyond. Managing company had great communication, except for issue at checkin and resolution of issues after checkout. We had dinner arrangements and plans for evening but had to rearrange due to owner not leaving unit, knowing we were waiting to check in at 4. We were finally able to get in at 6:15. But beware, before they gave us keys we were told we had 285/day resort fee, which was not on VRBO contracts, and was eventually taken off by managing company. However, they did not get us any other compensation for any issues, even after several attempts saying they would pass along to managers. After finally getting into unit we found that they obviously rushed to clean it and was not done well at all. Dusty, hair in tub, mopped poorly, fridge and patio furniture not wiped out/off well (patio all needs replaced), Etc…The unit was laid out well but definitely misled on condition. Appliances/cabinets need replaced. No numbers on microwave. Had to fix some things inside dishwasher. Only 3 small plates and 2 large(and 1 was chipped). Lots of bowls though. Guest room blackout shades didn’t work. Took 5 people to get master TV working. Master shower only about 36 x 36. Very small and we are smaller people. We will definitely stay at the Setai again because it was exceptional, but will either book direct or find another unit thru VRBO.
