This charming apartment is everything the photos show! The terrace has ample room for enjoying a morning cup of coffee, or evening glass of wine, while overlooking the park and listening to all the joyful sounds coming from it! The terrace is the main reason we stayed there, and it did not disappoint! The kitchen is charmingly small, but really, you’re not going to be doing anything other than making a morning cup of coffee or storing your water bottles there… there are just too many wonderful food options all around! The bed itself was very comfortable, and plenty of closet space if you’re there for several days and want to put things away or hang them up. Frida, our host, was immediately available on the few times we needed her and very friendly. We mainly needed to contact her because the lock to get in can be a little touchy, and if it senses you’ve put something in incorrectly, it will freeze up for several minutes before it allows you back in again. We were lucky in that the housekeepers let us in a couple times, otherwise you could be waiting for 5 to 10 minutes to get access, which doesn’t seem like a big deal, unless you’ve been walking for several hours and are very ready to get off your feet! Not a huge deal, though, and having a washer/dryer on site, and the elevator that drops you off outside your door, more than makes up for it! We would VERY happily stay there again as we loved being right in the heart of the neighborhood and within walking distance to several fine restaurants. A note… If the bakery right around the corner is important to you, do get there early, or there will be quite a line to sit down…every day! Also, pay attention to their local holidays, as many things are closed on those days. And check out ViaHero… ask for Juan… He knows the city inside and out! Thank you for providing such a wonderful apartment to spend a week of our lives in!
