The Hotel staff was amazing from when I checked in till I left every shift Curly hair, Red hair, and my exit lady she knows who it is. Facilities Team was so polite and warming I loved my stay. Thank you.

I did not feel that this location upheld the standards of a Marriott flagged hotel. The hotel was dated - seams in the carpet pulling apart, peeling wallpaper, broken couch in my room, and a shower that did not have proper water pressure. The hotel is very close to the interstate, which is both convenient and also produces loud traffic noise at night. I will be looking for different accommodations when i come to Merrillville for my next trip.

After traveling for two days, my woman and I was desperately hoping to take a shower after a long night's sleep. To our dismay the water was running, but the shower wasn't working 😡. Went to the front desk and talked with the lady on duty because there was no managers on duty and all she said was that she would alert mgmt as the showers not working at all in Room 111! I will make sure to bypass that hotel next week when I'm back in the area. Hoping to get a full refund of the room because of this after reserving this room and the description of the room said EVERYTHING was working 😠😠😠
