Our favorite so far!

We’ve visited Deep Creek Lake five times now staying different houses each time. We put this one at the top of the list! We loved the lake view and location. Our kids loved seeing the ducks/geese, being close to Wisp, and the bunk beds. The house was very clean and well maintained. Any minor issues were quickly addressed by the owners and the check-in/out processes were easy. We plan to return in the future!

Lovely stay in a lovely home!

A friend and I spent about a week in this home at the end of August, and it was perfect. Really nice home that is nicely maintained. Very clean, and all the spaces seem to have been recently updated, which was important to me. The whole home was very comfortable, especially the beds. We didn't do any cooking, but if we had, we would have had everything we needed. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with supplies, better than many rental properties I've seen. Guests should note that there is no bathroom on the first floor, so you have to go up or down to use a bathroom. Not necessarily a problem, but helpful to know if someone has mobility challenges. Danielle is a great host. Communication was fantastic. All instructions were very clear, and the guest guide was so helpful for exploring the area and trying out local restaurants (Brenda's Pizzeria was THE BEST!). Only downside was that the home is on a shallow end of the lake and the water level was very low when we were there, so water access wasn't as easy as I might have preferred. However the place where I rented my kayak for the week allowed me to launch from their location, which wasn't too far away, so problem solved. Overall, a really terrific house for a week on the lake, and i wouldn't hesitate to rent here again!

FANTASTIC HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This was our first stay at Wisps End and I cannot say enough good things about the property and owners. My family and I felt instantly at ease and had all the comforts of home during our stay. The owner was highly responsive and set clear expectations and guidelines, which was greatly appreciated. The house was centrally located and only about 3 minutes from most of the activities we planned. Highly recommend (unless it’s during a time we want to be there 😉)

Great rental!

The place was in amazing condition and just as advertised. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was also amazing to enjoy the lake and also a short walk to the base of Wisp to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks. We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing weekend getaway

We loved our stay at Wisps End! The location was perfect! It was quiet with very little boat traffic so our daughter and her friends paddleboarded for hours on end all weekend. It was very easy to get in and out of the lake from the back yard. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the views from the deck as very few houses down there have such a direct unobstructed view of the lake. The inside of the house is in pristine condition and the furnishings are newer and comfortable. Including the very comfortable beds. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out but the kitchen was the perfect place to come together for meals to talk and laugh. We can't wait to come visit again!

Perfect getaway

Beautiful property with a great lake view! We had a group of 7 adults and had room to spare! The house is updated and beautifully decorated. The house offers a ton of amenities like pool table, hot tub, fire pit and lots of outdoor seating. There is an easy path to drop a kayak or floatie in. Bunch of restaurants and activities very close by. The owner Danielle was a joy to work with, answered all our questions, and was available whenever we needed her during our stay. I would highly recommend this property and plan to rent again. Thanks for a great stay!

Prefect get away on the lake

This house was amazing! Clean and extremely comfortable, wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen had everything you might need and all amenities worked great. Easy access to the lake from the yard. The location of this house was truly perfect, very quiet but also not far from anything at all, grocery store, boat/jet ski rentals, restaurants…all within few miles away. I’m not sure but I think you could even walk to Wisp ski resort it looked close enough. Danielle was very responsive, we had one issue with the door lock and she was on top of it right away. Would definitely recommend this house and I’m sure we will be back ourselves.
