"We were kept waiting at check in while the person on reception finished typing an e-mail. No acknowledgement of our existence whatsoever. We had read other reviews which said 'avoid room 44'. Guess what room we were given ? We requested a change of room, and were given room 45, next door ! Comfy bed was a plus. Breakfast was adequate. I had stayed here before, many years ago, when it was the Marine Court. Then it was a classy, well run establishment. Today, it has the appearance of a tired old lady still trying her best, but the make up is failing to hide the signs of age. The dining/conservatory windows still have a large 'M' on them for Marine Court. This is not an establishment worth over £100 per night. Sorry to say this, but do yourself a favour and hit the local Travelodge !"
