Its very nice and comfortable but couldn't get the air to work right in the day time but when the sun went down very nice,hope we can come back.very comfortable place

Mom and Dad Fishing Trip

Our first stay in Matlacha was amazing! This house was super cute and clean. We enjoyed the screen in back porch and the hot tub was a nice touch. Our favorite part was easy access in and out with our boat and the beautiful sunrise views over the water. Can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing vibes

Exceeded our expectations, so beautiful. We were sitting on the dock fishing when my husband turned to me and said I nailed this location. Very cute area with old Florida vibes. House was spotless! Bed was very comfortable. Amazing sunrise and view! We will definitely be back.

Peaceful oasis

The location of this property at the end of the street and directly on the water created a quiet and peaceful space to enjoy. The design and amenities were modern and clean. One of the two showers did not drain quickly but we were told that the plumber would arrive after we left for the repair. Our only frustration was the shortage of hand towels and face cloths and the lack of response from the manager. Nevertheless we had a lovely weekend at this Matlacha property.

Overall Decent

Place was clean. Lacked amenities like soap for the showers. One of the showers had a drainage issue. Loved the location and sunrise views. Would love to see a couple of lounge chairs for the liana.

Nice Surprise

We had no idea what to expect as we had never been to Matlacha. Not only was the house very comfortable with amazing water views, the town itself and all of Pine Island is just awesome. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house

Had a great stay here. The house was very clean and spacious. Had a very nice screened in porch area to sit in if the mosquitos are out. The host was very responsive to the couple of questions we had. The one thing I would say was a disappointment were the kayaks. They are smaller ones and one had a small leak. They are fine for paddling around close by but I would rent some fishing kayaks if you are planning on taking them out to go fishing in the bay. Outside of that everything was great.

Relaxing Getaway

We spent four nights at the property. It was a great relaxing stay. We checked out all of Pine Island. There were two different Publix near by in either direction. We tried the great Popstroke putt putt, enjoyed massages and pampered ourselves with mani/pedis. The house has a great kitchen with dining and open to family room. From kitchen you can see the water. I watched the sunrise each morning over the bridge while sipping on coffee. We also intently kept track of an Osprey who spent mornings in a nearby tree. Blue Dog is a great dinner spot. A walk to the fudge/candy store is fun and there are shirt shops and a breakfast spot within walking distance too. Highly recommended for relaxing/restful getaway.

Quick Getaway

Beautiful property in a beautiful place. Enjoyed a quiet calm weekend relaxing to the beautiful views from the back patio. The sunrise from the back of the property was great. Plenty of wildlife to see with dolphins swimming close by and ospreys in the sky. Definitely would do this again. Matlacha is still recovering from Hurricanes Ian. Spoke to many locals that shared crazy stories. Everyone is very friendly. Definitely somewhere I would visit again

great space for a friends getaway weekend

This is a great home that is well suited for kayak and outdoor activities. The pictures on the website were accurate, to what we found when we arrived. The home was very functional but not cluttered with things, which I greatly appreciated. While the home itself was in good working order, be aware that the area is still recovering from hurricane damage, so there where still a lot of places that were not back up and running at the time of our visit. The host company was very easy to get a hold off and very pleasant.

Great water views!

We enjoyed our stay and loved the accommodations! The open floor plan was fantastic, the water views, kayaks, BBQ grills and large screened in lanai made our stay so nice! Highly recommend
