Best Little Condo in Manteo

Couldn't get a better condo or location. We loved the amenities, the view and how close it was to everything we love. We'll be back for sure!

Peaceful getaway!

Adorable condo in a lovely development located on the sound side. The condo was well equipped, updated and clean. I enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the morning and evening. It was an easy drive to the beach, restaurants and activities. Can't wait to come back!

Love Pirate's Cove

We spent three days here and loved Pirate's Cove. The condo was nice and clean and served our needs well. Cutely decorated as well. Quiet and peaceful as well. Kitchen was adequately stocked. We enjoyed morning coffee from the deck! Condo is small and even though it sleeps 6, it is a little tight if you have to spend much time indoors. We enjoyed all the amenities during our short stay.

Cute condo

I enjoyed the stay overall. Communication was lacking at first but once I was able to be connected to someone they were responsive. The amenities were sparse but thats okay since I always pack my own soap, shampoo etc. The condo was clean and comfortable. Be warned there is not an elevator and the stairs are not well lit.

Perfect location for our stay!

We were going to a boat launch in Wanchase and didn't want to stay in a hotel. This was the perfect location. Easy check-in and the place was just as described. I loved having a washer & dryer. The only negative was all of the soap dispensers were empty but that is on me. I never brought it up to management. I luckily travel with a bar of soap! We would definitely stay there again.

4th of July in Pirates Cove!

The unit was lovely…nice corner unit. King size bed was comfortable. The A/C stopped cooling properly the day before we left, we did mention to the rental company so they could address the issue. The only other recommendation would be if you are only providing a keurig coffee machine, it would be nice to supply an assortment of coffee pods. Or mention in the description that a keurig is the coffee maker so renters can know what to bring. We brought ground coffee not knowing & had to run out to buy pods. Overall we had a great stay & Pirates Cove is a wonderful place to spend the 4th! Thanks for having us!

Great time at Pirates Cove

Great corner unit. Loved the community. Coffee maker didn’t work - needs to be replaced with newer model. Could use black out curtains in the bedroom- sun comes in early. Very modern except for old shower/ tub. Dispensers are great idea but we couldn’t get product out of any of them.

We booked our stay for 6 nights but left after 2 nights due to the area having a mandatory evacuation of the outer banks because of Hurricane Erin's high probability of causing roads to be closed.Our check in was very easy and the home was as described on the site. We brought our own coffee maker due to reading reviews, we knew that there was a Kureg maker and it was just easier for us to bring our own Coffee and creamer instead of having to purchase the pods. It was dark when we arrived, entry was easy. When we entered the home we found several lamps bulbs were blown. We were able to change some around so we had light where we needed it. After the 1st day I noticed that my husbands feet were black from going barefoot in the house. After rubbing a white paper towel dry on the floor, the towel was black. With the cleaning fee that is charged I would expect the floor to be clean. The cleaning service obviously does not do floors.
