Adorable Lakefront Property

Lorelai is a perfect spot on Lake Superior...just a short drive to everything in Grand Marais. House is wonderfully furnished and owners were extremely helpful with suggestions for the area, etc. Loved our stay!

Lovely stay with family at Lorelei

We had a wonderful stay at Lorelei! The rooms and bed arrangements in the two cabins were great for our family of 4 and Grammie and Grandpa. Being so close to the lake was a huge highlight and could even fall asleep to the sound of the waves at night. The high quality finishes and furnishings helped the not-so-outdoorsy family members enjoy North Shore adventures without having to rough it 😊 Communication with the property managers was excellent.

Peaceful

our group is 70 ++ so with that said we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the waves, having a fire in the fireplace, the ease of cooking in the kitchen and overall, just relaxing.

Amazing Stay

The location of this cabin is perfect. Absolutely perfect. We fully enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed the sunrise in the morning and fire pits in the evening. We saw otters swimming right in front of the property which was so fun and unexpected. Would love to return someday.

Perfect for family group

Our entire family (6 adults, 2 kids 5 and under) stayed in the large and small cabin at Lorelei for 6 days. They are both charming, very clean and very well appointed (great beds), with just the right amenities. We all loved it, even on the rainy days when we built fires in the fireplace, worked on jigsaw puzzles, read books. It’s close to awesome hiking and state parks and we highly recommend!

Long Weekend with Family

Overall, property was among most clean and well stocked as any rental I’ve stayed at. Beds were comfortable as well. We had one small hiccup at check in that was resolved quickly by the owner. Also, there were a lot of mosquitos in the house that we couldn’t figure out where they were getting in. Great property and weekend though!

Stunning and peaceful water getaway

This was a magical stay for our group of friends. The hosts provided easy communication, a welcome feel, and were very accommodating. The place itself is complete with every coze decor and every appliance/accommodation you could think of for a comfortable stay (including a grill, KitchenAid, and popcorn popper!). A short drive from Lutsen mountain, we spent our sunny day exploring the beautiful foliage. The other two days of our trip rained nonstop, but since the cabin was so comfortable and cozy with a spectacular view right on the water, we didn't feel like we were missing out at all! We just opened the windows to hear the loud, crashing waves outside and played many of the available boardgames by the indoor fire. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Luxury lakefront cozy cabins

We loved staying at the Lorelei cabins! We had two couples and it was so nice for each of us to have our own cabins that were so well appointed! The kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked all meals at the cabin day. We utilized the grill on the deck and the fire pit. We loved having the fire pit within feet of the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and soaking up the autumn sun while gazing at the lake and relaxing. Having all the firewood we needed was so wonderful. This property is centrally located to everything we needed included hiking and riding trails. We will definitely be back to stay again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Perfect in every way!

The comfort and quality of this duo of cabins is beyond words. You walk in and feel well. The location is so great for the best hikes and proximity to grand Marais. We loved being right next to the water. The outdoor spaces were comfortable for our gatherings. Outside fire pit fabulous. Wood there. Ready. The road is lovely for long walks on a gravel surface and you meet kind neighbors. We did not want to leave. Thank you.

Family Reunion

This cabin was amazing. The proximity to the water was my favorite part. We had kids ages 6,7,8,9 playing on the rocks and small island just down the shore for hours. There is a swimming hole right off the island that was great for the kids. The features of the cabin made our stay feel so very rustic and coxy. If I were to have anything to change for the next stay would be to ask that they mow the grass before the next guests arrive. There were weeds coming through the stairs and the grass was needing attention. Again, that would be the ONLY thing I would address needing attention. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to do so soon! Oh, and there was unlimited firewood which was an absolute plus.

Great cabin right on the lake

Loved our stay. The cabin is located right on the water making you feel like Superior is your own little lake. The cabin is well thought out and has everything you could need...including enough fire wood to last a winter. Highly recommend!

Great spot!

A cozy cabin in a beautiful location. My husband and I spent the weekend here with our son and his girlfriend. We did a LOT of hiking and enjoyed both the fireplace and fire pit with the cool weather. Fabulous dry and plentiful firewood. Mattresses were some of the best we've ever encountered at a VRBO. Would love to know what brand/series they are so we can get one for our home. :)

Great location and view

Cabin was in a great location--close to Lutsen and Grand Marais, with lots of trails for skiing. We enjoyed watching and listening to the lake (so close!)--as a big storm passed thru on our last night/day. The fire in the fireplace was a cozy addition to our evenings!

Perfect place for our cousins weekend

My four cousins and I thoroughly enjoyed Lorelei: the cabin and guest house, the location right on Lake Superior, the beautiful furnishings and comfortable beds, proximity to Lutsen and Grand Marais, and our long walks along Cascade Beach Road. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed several meals at the cabin. We didn't want to leave! Matt and Lindsay were great to work with: very responsive and flexible. We look forward to staying at Lorelei again!

Wonderful Northshore cabin

Cabin and guest house are located on a spacious, private lot and situated right on the water. Views are wonderful. Cabin and guest house are decorated perfectly for a North Shore home. We loved the stone fireplace (a woodshed is located right by the house. We split wood there and had a fire going all day!). Kitchen is nicely equipped with charming cabinets and hardware. New countertops and appliances. There is no separate dining room. Rather seating is at the kitchen island (counter. height). Seats 6. Bathrooms feel new and fresh. Loved the lake facing bedroom. So picturesque. Highly recommend this property.

Incredible cozy cabin offering a front row seat to Lake Superior.

We had a great stay at Lorelei! The cabins were spotless and beds were so comfy. Everything you need is provided. Can’t beat location to get to Lutsen mountain and to visit Grand Marais. Cozy North shore experience!

Amazing place

This was one of the best VRBOs we have stayed at. The views are amazing -10 feet from the water. The cabin furniture is great and well thought out. The beds are very comfortable. The cabin is stocked with everything you need. The communication with the property manager Lindsey was first class. Definitely a 5 star experience and will be back.
