Good location, cute place, a little short on amenities
For the most part, we really enjoyed our stay at Poppy’s place. We are a family of five and the house fit us perfectly. However, there is no access to a washer/dryer which is difficult when you come in from a day on the mountain with wet gear, or you are staying for more than a weekend and want to get some of the washing done before you get home late leading into a work week. Additionally, the TV did not have any streaming capabilities, so that was a bust. Just a VCR and DVD player. This is an easy fix with a Roku or Amazon stick for less than 50.Finally, the house is managed by Vacasa - the pro to this is that there is very quick responses to things. The downside is that they don’t really know anything about the property and I have a series of text messages back and forth about a coin operated washer / dryer located in a basement that was not accessible. I also found that the Vacasa towels, while plentiful, were very small and thin. Not exactly what you’re looking for after a day outside in the cold!
