A very Enjoyable Stay!!

We totally enjoyed staying here! The proprietors and staff are friendly and professional, but not intrusive. They explained everything to us when we arrived. We arrived a few hours early, which was no problem at all. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious - Kudos to the chefs !! A Lovely, Historic area of Louisville.

This lovely 140 year old home is a bed and breakfast superbly run by Allen. Our stay was extremely pleasant. All phases including gourmet breakfast were provided expertly by Allen. This gentleman is top flight level on the customer service spectrum. Five star, and highly recommend for any Louisville stay.

The Inn is charming; full of character but with all the comforts and conveniences. Allen was an amazing host! He was there to greet us at our late arrival and was attentive throughout our entire stay...and his breakfast was fantastic!

Impeccable Service Meets Charming Accommodations

From the moment you check in, you can sense how this was selected as the best bed and breakfast in Louisville. Allan did everything he could to ensure exceptional service. He moved our reservation to a lower floor before we checked in so we would be more comfortable during a heat way. He offered many suggestions to make our stay pleasant. When we returned from one of his restaurant suggestions we mentioned the food was great , but the service wasn’t very welcoming. He said that was unacceptable and within a few minutes got back to us saying the entire meal cost was going to be refunded. The Derby room was very large and comfortable. The home is very charming as you can see from the pictures and the staircase makes you feel you are stepping back into a gilded age. And the breakfast was so delicious I wished we could have stayed much longer. I will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Bourbon Inn was incredible! It is an absolutely gorgeous Victorian mansion with all the amenities one would need. But the house is only one part of what makes this property so good. Allen is an absolutely incredible host who makes you feel so incredibly welcome. He is beyond friendly and the breakfasts he serves up are to die for!!!
