The rooms are great. There are no restaurants in close vicinity and the neighborhood is a bit rough. Good for short term stay but not ideal for longer than a day or two.

The wood floor is loud when you walk on it and makes the bed shake in room. The ac is super loud. And you can hear the traffic outside.

Helpful, clean, comfortable, affordable hotel with free transport to and from BUR airport (ask the front desk about it). They let you print out your events tickets and boarding passes, check emails for free on their lobby computer. The Cuban place in the lobby had delicious food. We stayed here after a family funeral, and visited universal studios. It was perfect for what we needed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Retro Charm Meets Family Survival” Took the fam to Universal Studios and needed a hotel that wouldn’t require selling a kidney. Enter: Ramada by Wyndham Burbank, found on Expedia like a hidden gem wrapped in 1980s stucco. From the outside, it looks like it could’ve been the setting for a mildly unsettling crime drama. But once inside? Pleasant surprise! The room was clean, smelled nice (always a win), and the AC worked like it knew we had kids with us—blessed and highly favored. The space was HUGE. I’m talking “the kids can run laps and still not touch a wall” huge. Only downside? The TV is basically there for decoration. No Netflix = two slightly feral children. And the Wi-Fi? Let’s just say it was mood-based. Sometimes it connected. Sometimes it looked at me like, “Try again, peasant.” The pool was decent, which in dad-speak means “nobody cried and nothing weird floated by.” Overall, for the price and the surprise of not regretting my life choices, I’d totally stay here again. Just maybe bring a hotspot and a tablet loaded with Bluey.

Disappointing Stay – Mold and Noise Issues Unfortunately, my stay wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped. There was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling, which is a serious cleanliness and health concern. It made using the restroom unpleasant and raised questions about the overall maintenance of the room. Additionally, the mini fridge was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep at night. It would cycle on and off with a buzzing noise that was hard to ignore. The staff was polite, and the location was convenient, but the room conditions need serious attention. I wouldn’t stay here again unless these issues are resolved.

Great place to stay while going to universal.

Was a little worried when I pulled up in the dark. Seemed in a rougher area at first. But I was tired and it was just dark lol so if ya show up at night don’t stress. No it’s not a new hotel. But it was extremely clean rooms. Not to mention VERY big rooms. And big bathroom. Like way bigger than a normal 2 bed hotel room. It was older on the outside for sure. But we were very happy with the price and the room. No breakfast so that stunk but free parking in Cali so yay. And I wasn’t stressing about my car getting broken into. Which in Cali is a big thing. Sadly. Overall very happy. Will definitely stay again as we are universal pass holders.

We had a nice quiet stay. Granted we were there for two nights only. The room was the standard 2 queen beds (sheets are paper thin and the blanket was rough, they should definitely upgrade linens) it had a spacious bathroom but shower had no water pressure, still enough for showering. The room has a nice size mini fridge to store drinks and small snacks.the TV its in the smaller size side but after a bussy day didn't matter much to us. The hotel is about 15 mins away from universal, walmart and target are 5 mins away too. The pool its a good size, but its not heated and they close at 8pm seems early for the summer hours. Location is great and it was safe.the hotel is right off the 5 super easy to get on and off. We ate at a restaurant close by called costa azul, we totally recommend!
