Property is located downtown. For the amount of money one spends to stay here, you’d think it would be top of the line. The room felt small, WiFi was abysmal; bathroom was very cramped. However the staff were understanding and did the best they can do at their job which was good. Parking cost an arm and leg too. If you have to stay here, I would probably recommend 2 days at most.

Although the lobby and public areas are quite extravagant and lovely, the guest rooms are very very outdated. Extremely small bathroom, old fixtures and bathtub faucet that dripped. Finding the parking garage was a bit difficult initially and then we were shocked by the $50 per night charge for parking. Save your money and just visit the lobby to see the historic beauty of those areas, but skip staying overnight.

There were some mixups at the sign in- I had arranged for a late checkout and was told at the desk it wasn’t possible, but after showing the email saying it was ok, it got sorted out. The day i was leaving, there was a very large group of young people attending a mock trial convention of some kind, and the lobby was a zoo, and it was impossible to get help at the desk. I called the hotel while waiting in the very long line for in-person assistance, and the hotel operator took care of my issue immediately so I didn’t have to wait in the line. I really appreciate that. I understand hotels can get busy, and sometimes everyone needs everything all at once. It was nice that there was an option to help me even though the people at the desk were obviously slammed. The hotel itself is gorgeous (and smelled REALLY good too). My room, while small, was very comfortable and pretty. The lounge was maybe a little small and overpriced for what they offer, but it was still convenient when I needed it. I was hungry around 9 and tried to order room service through the QR code menu. I couldn’t make it work, and the desk told me I could go down to the restaurant and order it there and bring it back up, which I didn’t want to do. The lounge had some little snacky things that were really more what I wanted anyway, so it worked out well. Overall, I would come back and recommend it to friends.

Not worth the money

Parking was a nightmare and not properly explained at check in. The room itself was incredibly old and worn out. Closet door didn't even close properly. Bathroom was the low point. Toilet looked like something out of a public restroom and door couldn't even open all the way without hitting said toilet. For the first time in my hotel staying life, the shower actually ran out of hot water in less than 10 minutes. Brutal water pressure as well. This hotel appears "fancy" from the outside but don't let that fool you, it is a glorified Motel 6.

Honest Review

I had a pleasant stay with my husband here while visiting downtown. Very friendly staff, we had a late check in at around 1am and were greeted with water bottles and a quick send off. Rooms are a bit smaller than expected and as shown in pictures and bathrooms are a bit small/outdated. Water from shower leaked from shower to bathroom floor and onto carpet. King bed was comfortable and clean. Woke up to a protest happening outside but my view to the street was pretty much blocked by the building directly in front of my window. Honestly not the best view but we were on the third floor. By checkout the hotel was full of guests roaming the halls and the ball rooms were being set up for a wedding which did prevented us from being able to see or go inside. I was really looking forward to taking pictures in the main ballroom unfortunately the space was being set up with a stage and seating. Lovely pool area and pictures in the hallways. My least favorite part of this hotel was the mandatory $50 parking fee for overnight stays. Parking is also a bit confusing and all the way up on the ninth floor of the parking structure. I appreciate the historical vibe to this hotel and the architecture but this was definitely a one time stay.
