For starters the bathroom was not fully cleaned as there was trash behind the toilet and when i tried to shower HOT /cold was fluctuating and was not plesant.

The front desk staff were polite and helpful. They told us about the driverless car service that was less expensive than lyft and a delightful new experience. They also held 1 suitcase per person when we went to museums after check out. The room was shabby but clean and our bed was incredibly comfortable. It was also an easy ride to everywhere but the airport. The coffee shop next door was reasonable and lovely. The attached bar was full of locals who were friendly and engaging and the bartender made a perfect old fashion. I cant think of a better deal for what we paid.

The hotel needs to catch up, it has no tea/coffee facilities in the room, there was no room service and also no phone in the room which means having to go down to reception to ask questions. Overall it is a nice hotel with a nice abeyance, the room was clean and tidy with a large bed that was comfortable and I found the staff were friendly

This the second time I have travelled from the UK to Hollywood and stayed at Hollywood Historic Hotel. And this stay was just as good as my first in 2023. The staff are very helpful and polite I had an issue with my room card during my stay and they sorted it straight away. I had a deluxe room with a king size bed which was very comfortable. The room comes complete with a fridge which is very useful for cold drinks or food. The room was very clean and was cleaned every single day of my 7 day stay. Two bottles of complimentary water were provided every day also a nice touch. The hotel is well situated for the tourist sites like Hollywood Boulevard which is a short drive away. Paramount Studios is a short walking distance away and others like Universal Studios are about 20 to 30 minutes away depending on the LA traffic. I had no issues getting about using Uber and others. The Hotel it's self is full of period charm having been built in the golden age of Hollywood and it adds to the experience but don't expect all the things you get in a modern hotel. The clue is in the name Hollywood Historic Hotel you do get good air conditioning in the room and the Wi-fi worked fine for me. If I do travel to Hollywood again in the future I will stay at the hotel a third time no doubt about it.

Hotel was cute and did whay we needed. The parking was on sitr but very tight. Its tough to maneuver and you need the attendant to guild you into the spots which are shared by the restaurant. The bar/restaurant was great and the staff were wonderful. Rooms were small and not the most accessible for outlets.
