Had to wait for room, however staff was great (front desk, local driver). Property is clean and decorated nicely for the holidays, the libby was very welcoming and the hot coco and popcorn was a nice touch.

Good value however even though this is supposedly a non smoking property there was very strong smoke odor coming from what seemed to be the air conditioning duct filter area of our room 1241. It smelled like smoke mixed with febreeze, got a nasty headache from it and was glad to leave ASAP, thank goodness it was only one night. Hotel offered to spray more febreeze, that would only make the problem worse for me as i'm sensitive to smell. The hotel is really good value for the money though and aside from the smoke febreeze smell, fairly clean, and fairly quiet.

They should definitely tell you that the $400 a night room does not include parking. Make sure to budget another $40 a day for that. For that price of a room, I would expect free parking. Also, limited parking spaces at that.

Check-in was smooth sailing. The gym facility was great, just small, so you have to show up early or go late if you don't want to share machines. The restaurant inside the facility was superb; if you can have dinner there at least one night, you should. The elevators gave a bit of pause due to them being older - they were working on one of the bays, but every elevator I got in had me worried I might not make it. The rooms themselves gave a very "I just came here for work" vibe, and the bathrooms haven't been updated in a long time. I was surprised at the condition of the room, to be honest. It was clean and cool, the beds were comfortable; however, I definitely expected more from a Hilton property. The staff was all fabulous - not a single poor interaction, everyone was so helpful and sweet.

This was a great choice to stay before our cruise. The value of the free shuttle to the port and a local grocery store prior to the cruise was awesome. Then after the cruise being picked up and brought back to the hotel was nice to avoid the chaos at the port. Alex was our driver. He added much value to our stay!!!!

Definitely a great hotel in Long Beach

I really enjoyed the set up of the hotel lobby. They had a variety of refreshing drinks and a couple of family games to make the waiting experience even more pleasant. Staff were friendly and room was clean.

Long Beach getaway

The furniture was stained in the floor was stained. The AC was not running very good, but they did come in and try to adjust and they also adjusted our bill for the stained furniture.
