Nude couples beating each other into the public hallways. Vagrants begging for cash, prostitutes soliciting you. Constant high speed freeway noise, no room sound deadening, constant sex noises through paper thin walls. You can hear every step above and below, and every single toilet has a loose pipe that rattles on flush and has so much turbulence that when you run the bathtub you can hear the plumbing from the elevator 200ft away from the room. Blood stains on the sheets, used rubbers in the bathroom, black mold under the drain stopper.
