After all flights into NYC were canceled due to the weather, the hotel refused to issue a refund for the first night. When we did finally arrive and check-in the next day, our room was so frigid it was unbearable. We never could get the thermostat to properly adjust, the room lacked a hair dryer, there was constant noise outside the room caused by hotel staff, and simple things like coffee packs in the room were missing. In general, a miserable experience. We've stayed at this hotel previously while visiting family in the area. Never again. The only positive we can give it was the hotel restaurant, although service was spotty on the two occasions we dined there.

I booked a room with a view and paid for it. I was given an interior view, looking at other guests curtains. Front desk wouldnt help.

10/10 hotel, skip the food. This hotel is a gem! Firstly, the location is perfect - a very short walk from the train station, right on the boardwalk, and next to an ice cream stand. Stayed in a partial beach view room, which had an amazing view of both the beach and the NYC skyline in the distance, which was incredible at sunset. Would definitely take this over a room directly facing the beach! Room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. The pool, though quite busy on a summer weekend, was great. Be sure to get there early if you want a lounge chair. And definitely BYOB and bring your own food, because the bar at the pool was pretty atrocious. My wife and I ordered salads, which came without dressing. When we requested dressing (for our different salads), the server returned with two cups of salsa. Drinks weren't much better - very sad selection of canned domestic macro factory beers (save for one excellent local IPA), no wine, and poorly made cocktails - my wife's strawberry daquiri was clearly made with undiluted mixer concentrate! Breakfast at the main restaurant wasn't much better - slow, expensive, and pretty underwhelming, though the server was extremely nice. The mezzanine bar was quite lively at night, and had a good selection of cocktails, draft beer, and wine. Would absolutely stay here again!

F&B team were atrocious. Poorly trained. Zero knowledge about menu and lost. Valet staff could absolutely care less. 5 staff members talking to each other while I am standing there trying to give someone my keys. Long Beach waited so many years to have a nice hotel and this is the best they could offer. Terrible.

Beautiful hotel on the beach… love how the hotel gives you the beach passes with two chairs and towels. The roof top pool Al though small was beautiful and the views from the pool were even better

I come stay here almost every year past 12 years It is very convenient get away from NYC. The hotel is located beach front. Great view from beach front hotel. Food selections at restaurant and bar changed many times over years. Yet it remains constantly delicious. Overall almost everything in menu is good. View from restaurant is nice. My favorite is bar. Bartenders Lauren, Julio and Gwen always attended me above and beyond. Always busy yet super fast and courteous and friendly service. Special thanks to very efficient and great service of front desk staff, Shanon, Jeanette , Ruben and Marsha.
