The location and staff were great, so I’ve given them a star. The rest was dreadful. We expected the shoebox that we got, but we didn’t expect the window (that cost £25!!) to be so heavily frosted it might as well not be there or for it to be sealed shut. I resent you monetising daylight for so little of it. The box was roasting hot, the aircon was broken and the windows don’t open, so we left at 7am to get fresh air. I can only imagine the hell of that room in the summer months. The bathroom wall is also entirely frosted, but not with as much effort as the window. So I got a lovely view of my husband using the toilet. I feel that I paid £125 to stay in what is basically a prison simulator. But at least I know where the phrase ‘daylight robbery’ comes from now.

Great stay! Great location! It was very convenient to be able to leave our bags early before we checked in and even have we checked out for free! Staff was very friendly! Stayed in the no window room which is pretty small but all the amenities are brand new and honestly perfect for our stay! Will 100% stay again in the future!

The Room was surprisingly smaller than expected for Queen size but nonetheless was beautiful. Although there was small stains around I was happy. The tv would’ve been better if all the channels actually worked haha. The staff were amazing and I got some free wine and cheese which happens every Tues and Sat. The commute to the station was really easy. There a lot of nice cafes around and bus stop right in front of the hotel. My husband and I would stay again.

Nice cosy room but the heating wasnt working, only giving cold air and the control panel wasn’t working, had to keep putting the hair dryer on to keep warm!
