Clean room. Very good staff service. Bed was a bit small, double width only. Room was noisy as we got a basement room below reception area so had regular noisy foot traffic on a hard floor above through the night.

Disappointing room

The room we stayed in was in a basement and had a fake window. There was a fan in the “window” which was so loud and made it hard to sleep but couldn’t be turned off because the room would get too hot. It was also very small and cramped. Some of the staff were dismissive and seemed annoyed to help while others were quite pleasant, which was strange. The cleanliness of the room was fine but I definitely would not stay here again. The only benefit is that it is close to Hyde park for events but I still don’t think that justifies the price and the poor service.

We were a group that booked 4 rooms. It was very hot outside. Only 2 rooms had adequate AC. No windows that opened. One of the rooms should have not been sold as a double. Tiny room. Luckily they changed the couple into another room after the first night.

Don’t sleep on Basement Level

Advise against sleeping in rooms on basement level. Generator making noise throughout the night. Very stuffy with no view being in the basement. Mattress not comfortable.

Compact room. The bed was sunken in the middle so a little uncomfortable. Women on the front desk at check out weren’t the friendliest. Room was exceptionally clean!

Good breakfast

Our room was below ground, did not have a window, and smelled musty when we put the air conditioning on. The shower was extremely small and would be difficult for someone larger to use. The breakfast contained a nice variety of hot and cold foods.

Very small room despite booking an executive double. Couldn’t fit a suitcase. Hairdryer didn’t work. Plastic bottles of water. Friendly staff and good location for Notting Hill.
