The property was exactly as advertised. The rooms were all very clean and well organized. Beds were comfortable. The porch with the hot tub was completely screened and has another table that sat everyone out in the breeze, to eat. Overall this was one of the nicest places we have stayed in. The host was available for any problems that may arrive, we had none.

This house was great for our group of 10. The four bedrooms with king beds and adjoining bathrooms were all great and the fifth couple had a comfortable pullout sofa in the lower level and a half bath to themselves. There were multiple gathering spaces: the large dining table, screen porch area, and fire pit. The house felt secluded but was only a 10-minute drive to Ash Cave and 25 minutes to the Hocking Hills Winery. We appreciated the paper products, soap and shampoo/conditioner supplies in the showers. The kitchen was also well stocked and a propane tank was dropped off Saturday morning when I notified them Friday night it was running low for the gas grill on the deck.We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying at this home. There was plenty of room and privacy for everyone! Everything you would need for the comforts of home was provided. We come to Hocking Hills every year, sometimes twice a year and we will definitely rent this property again!

Easy check in, beautiful and spacious home. Fit our family of 8 adults and an infant well. Wi-Fi great at the house but unavailable in local area driving. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was amazing! Only thing that could make it better would be better instructions on how to find it. Apple Maps and Google Maps take you to two different locations. Google is correct.

Great place for NYE

Convenient location, nicely decorated, very well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, nice hot tub. The driveway is a little intimidating but that’s just me, lol. We would definitely stay here again

Speakeasy Stay

Beautiful home- plenty of space for multiple families. Town is a bit of a drive so stock up on supplies and you will be good! Hot tub is a great feature.

Family Christmas

We had our family Chrismas here as the locationis a midway point between us It was the perfect place. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms a great size and layout. There is plenty of space to either hang out or have some alone time. We hope to go there again next Chrismas as well!

Beautiful property!

Our stay was amazing. The cabic was gorgeous and brand new! It was furnished and decorated beautifully! The owner and staff went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed! Next time we come to Hocking Hills, I'd definitely want to rent the Speakeasy again! There was so much glam and luxury to this place and we didn't want to go home!

House is really nice. 4 bedrooms with king size beds and private bathrooms is a plus. My only critic is the water pressure isn’t the best which I am assuming is the well. We ran out of hot water a few times. Need more dish towels in the kitchen and some work on the driveway. I would stay here again. Speak Easy room is really cool.

Family gathering

The cabin was beautiful and well kept. The landscaping and views were fantastic. We loved the four large bedrooms with each having their own attached bathrooms. We were able to gather in several large areas that the cabin offers both inside and out. The only negative was the steep, rough driveway, although we all were able to manage. Our family would definitely choose a return visit to the Speakeasy.

Thank you for a fantastic stay!We can’t say enough great things about the Speakeasy Lodge! It is beautiful and very stylish. We were very impressed by the furnishings and decor. The lodge is very clean and well kept, and very well stocked with any amenity you could possibly need for a weekend getaway. The surrounding property is idyllic, very calm and serene. And the Speakeasy made for a fun place for game night!Thank you again for everything. We will definitely be back soon!Happy 4th!The Werths and The Roushs

Father's Day weekend Getaway

We had a great family weekend away with 8 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances and cookware. The bathrooms were all stocked with shampoo, crene rinse and bodywash. It was very clean. The kids loved the hot tub and secret game room. The management was very copperative. We loved our short stay.

Perfect house for our group

The Speakeasy was perfect for my husband and me, and our 6 friends. Each couple had their own king-sized bedroom and bathroom. We played cards each evening for hours in the hidden room and enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch. Very nice house! The only downside was the very steep gravel driveway.

Nice place! We had so much fun. I love the decor of the house. If you build this house somewhere else vacationy I would rent it elsewhere. I plan on returning to this place. Had a hard time finding the place the first day. Cell phone reception crapped out. We had so much fun posing in front of the black and white print on the wall in the speakeasy. So bring a tripod and dress in black and white yourself and you’re part of the picture!

Luxury Stay

Amazing new home with attention to details. Spacious bedrooms with luxury bedding and huge bathrooms for each couple. Kitchen well stocked with quality tools and appliances. Outdoor space welcoming with plenty of things to do. Large hot tub and deck area attached to main floor. Reliable Wi-Fi and host was quick to respond to questions. Only wish we could have had more time there.

A weekend experience

The house was just beautiful and had everything we needed. There was a power outage on Friday night till Saturday candles, flashlights or battery operated lights would of been nice. We had a hard time getting up the driveway it was so steep and the gravel made your tires spin. Overall we had a great time with family and friends.

Check in was very easy. The kitchen was well equipped. Wi Fi worked well. The driveway is terrible. Many ruts in the gravel and a very steep slope. One car was unable to get up the driveway. Douglas was quick to respond to issues at the house. He was a bit testy when it came to the driveway. If everyone is able to potentially climb a steep driveway it is a wonderful place to stay.
