Perfect long weekend!

I stayed here for a few nights with friends and it was wonderful! The location is great—it was lovely being right on the water, but also close to all the local wineries and towns. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us, and the host was very communicative. Would stay here again!

This house had everything anyone would need for a vacation stay - great kitchen facility, wonderful bedding, community rooms, plus privacy. Living room furniture could use an update. Gravel road and driveway is a challenge as it is very steep.

Great spot for visiting Seneca Lake wineries and breweries.

The house was great. We loved the deck and the dock. Our only major concern was a gnat infestation that we could not eliminate. A trashcan cover for the kitchen trash might help. Otherwise, loved the setting, the location and the furnishings.

Relaxing

Comfortable lodging for the 4 of us. Nice deck with view and plenty of seating on deck and down by lake. Liked the dock. WiFi was fine and book and dvd selection was a nice touch. E we appreciated the towels and toilet paper dish soap and sponges. It is a very steep drive way and walk down to the house. Our one problem of over flowing garbage was taken care of in a timely manner. Some extra light bulbs would be nice since two of the lamps would not light

Lake Seneca Vacation

Four friends spent the week at this location. The house was set up nice and was very clean. We did not notice in the description that it did not have a washer and dryer and we were only provided one bath towel per person. It took us three calls to the rental company before they delivered extra towels. That should be considered in cases where there is no washer or dryer. We also didn't notice that a dishwasher wasn't included but that wasn't much of an issue because we used paper plates throughout the week. The decks, back yard and dock were all very nice and we enjoyed spending a good part of our time outside.

Poor communication w/ service requeat

The lower level bathroom water smelled like sewer/sulfur when you turned on sink faucet and smelled the entire house up after shower ran. Text to request service and said they would send someone. We were gone for the day and had given the ok for someone to come in. When we returned that evening turned on water and smell was still very strong. Called the next morning to see what they had found out and was told they had not sent anyone because they had an emergency but would send someone that day around lunch time. asked if they could let me know what they found. We returned in the evening the door for water heater closet was open and the smell was still there I received no communication from property management during our stay regarding this problem. The entire house had to share the tight stall shower upstairs.

Great stay

Great place, great location! We loved being on the water and using the kayaks. The sunsets were amazing! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and the cookware was awesome. Could have used a kitchen sponge though. A dishwasher would be great as well. Bring your own dish liquid as none is provided. One thing that was tough-no A/C. It was 84 degrees in the house last evening at 11pm! And that was after we had the windows open and fans on for hours. One thing that would help would be some type of shade for the upper windows in the living room. Also, would love to request that the outside chairs and picnic table be cleaned off/blown off before guests arrive, to make them usable. Overall though, we loved this place and our time there.

Great Lakefront Property

Location was close to wineries and breweries. The property - deck and dock were great for sipping wine and watching the sunset. Driveway is VERY steep. Lots of steps on the property. Living room furniture needs replacement, but other than that this was a great cottage to spend a long weekend on Seneca Lake.

Lovely house and location. Furniture needs updating. Sleeper sofas were in bad shape. Kids had a great time floating in the water. Water shoes are a must!!

We enjoyed the house but the stairs to get to the house were treacherous. A handrail should be installed at the top stairs. We also had problems with the wood stove as the remote did not work. There is also no dishwasher or cable for the TV. But the view and yard and decks were fabulous.
