The house was very comfortable. We spent time at the beach, enjoyed the bonfire, and the large dining table for games in the evening. Loved the wineries and a visit at Watkins Glen. Thought it odd to have silver rimmed dinner wear that could not go in the dishwasher or microwave. We bought paper plates and other products, so we could enjoy family time.

A little disappointing for the price

The pictures make it look like the house is right on the water, and it's not... it's across the street.There were not enough dish towels, regular towels, or wine glasses for the 12 people staying in the house. There were no beach towels at all. The group before us (a bachelorette party) filled all of the trash bins before we arrived and the cleaning crew missed empty seltzer cans under the sofa and ottoman.There needs to be blinds or curtains put up for the two sliders in the living room. The sun beat in so badly we couldn't enjoy the room or the view and had to crank the AC (only 1 thermostat for the entire house) to make the room remotely comfortable.

Great space and equally good location - beautiful vistas on the water. Kitchen could have been better equipped/organized. Lots of miscellaneous items left in draws/cabinets. Overall it worked out well for our group of 8 adults.

Perfect location

House was clean and beautiful upon arrival. Lost power and water on first night there due to a storm which was not ideal since we lost all of our cold food. But owner kept in touch with updates on the power outage. We didn’t let this weather mishap ruin our fun. The house is in a great location, close to breweries and wineries. Enjoyed our time on the deck and dock in the evening to watch the sunset.

Boat issues

More needs to be explained about not being able to secure a boat to the dock on this lake. The winds made a boat lift necessary or the 4 corner ties like were at this place. If my kids hadn’t been along it would have been difficult for my husband and me to handle docking the boat the days there was strong wind. Fortunately the neighbor explained the importance of not just tying the boat to the dock like we can at Queka Lake.

Stunning property

Group of seven life long friends. We wanted a house that could accommodate us without everyone having to share beds and rooms. But mostly, we wanted to be right on the lake and be half way between Geneva and Watkins Glen. This was perfect! House is lovely, clean, comfortable and roomy.

Fun despite wild winds

Some adults and children braved rain and winds for a swim and we all enjoyed the dock. Location was perfect. We were able to enjoy Watkins Glen nearby and attended an event outside of Ithaca. The house had enough bedrooms to accommodate 10 comfortably. We used kitchen and enjoyed views from living areas.

Seneca lake vacation house

It was a beautiful home located on the lake front. It is a well maintain, nicely decorated home. Love the paintings on the walls. We spent most of the time outdoor hiking and visited wall falls nearby. Sunset by the dock in front of the house was astonishing. It was a great trip and a great place to stay. AK

Ideal location, great open floor plan

We were very pleased with the location of this home. The host was wonderful with communication, espcially concerning some water damage that affected the basement area just prior to our stay. The open floor plan on the second floor was ideal and everyone LOVED the dock just steps from the house. While the rooms and linens were very clean, it was disappointing that the kitchen was not a clean as it could have been and there seemed to be a fruit fly issue.

Lake Seneca house

Perfect rental

We had 10 adults and we all were beyond impressed with this home and its location. Plenty of space for everyone, super friendly neighbors and even a neighborhood dog named Magee came by daily to say hello! Plenty of parking. Great dock and fire pit area. We just couldnt be happier with this choice as our rental for the weekend. Pics dont do it justice.
