The service was mid. It was not that they were rude and just wasn't the greatest either. When I woke up the morning of my travel date 3/10/24, I saw that I had a notification email saying that my card was declined for my room. The email was sent at 4am? (and with-it being daylight savings time they really ran it super early) I have never had a "pay at property" hotel run my card prior to getting there. Especially at 4am? I called the service desk, before 7 am and was told that yes they did run the card, I switched my money over and paid for the room. I asked the desk clerk what would have happened if I didn't call, she said " I am canceling all rooms that I can't process after a couple of attempts" Meaning that the "pay at property" option isn't even a thing for them. LOL. I was there for the J Cole concert. Had I not called, I would've traveled 3hrs to have a canceled room! They are sticklers on the check in time. I had to pay $20 additional to check in at 2pm all for the room to not even be that clean. The walls are dirty, the room looked dingy, nothing like the pictures. The lobby was cool, but it was giving kitchen nightmares. I have stayed at better hotels for less. Granted it was only $144 bucks, so you get what you pay for. I give it a 3/10.
Tip: stop running people cards 12 hrs BEFORE check in and they are paying AT THE PROPERTY. Don't give that option if you're not going to stick to that.
