Staff were super excellent. Some room AC units are tired and now no longer suitable for Bali conditions. Rooms with new AC units a must if cool sleep conditions are to be achieved. Roaming cats on the property howling at night not ideal for sleep.

Die Umgebung ist fest in Australischer Hand. Das Meer ist nur etwa 50 Meter vom Hotel entfernt, aber natürlich wird man auf diesem kurzen Weg dahin ca. 2 Mal gefragt, ob man den Transport mit einem Rollertaxi benötigt… Das Zimmer war schön, geräumig und mit sämtlichen Annehmlichkeiten versehen, die benötigt werden.

We only stayed one night because our flights were cancelled and then delayed. So this review isn't comprehensive. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was included in the price and was ok but the portions were small as it wasn't a buffet, but they took your order. The coffee was very good, but if you wanted anything other than Bali coffee it was an extra charge. A nice one night stay, the bed was very comfortable. Our room has a locked adjoining door and the guests next door could clearly be heard.

This is my third time here. There will be a fourth, fifth, and a 6th. The grounds are closer to a resort than a hotel...it doesn't look like it has ocean access from the Google Maps, but it actually is much closer you realize.... the breakfast is great. But the super nice people really make this place amazing. I never leave reviews anywhere but this place is worth.

staff does not listen and doesn’t seem to be proactive, e.g. I ordered breakfast without egg two times confirmed and I got the wrong thing no escalators in the whole hotel, no helping with a luggage. Some of the houses are older and not so well maintained, the ceiling the stairs is so low that you hit your head on it. Overall, not what you expect from a four star hotel.

Great Beach Hotel

Stayed here 4 times now and love it. Nice mid size hotel with nice rooms with comfy bed and good bathroom. Staff are friendly with a get breakfast right across from the beach with 2 pools.

The old worldly Bali vibe here is what we lije. It’s not your four seasons , Hyatt. Type place and we like it for that. Rooms are rustic but clean, air con works, porch with a couch, cold fridge and mos of all the staff are genuinely and giving. The Balinese are wonderful souls and that shows through here. The food offering could improve a tad and the pool area could be monitored a bit better against the lounge hogs who drop towels on 6 lounges then disappear for hours on end. It’s a real pet hate of mine. Come, stay, dip in the pool or walk across the narrow street. Yo the beach and jump in the ocean. It’s a 1/2 hour stroll north to Seminyak or south to Kuta so well situated.
