We had a very frustrating experience with this property and with Evolve, the management company. When we arrived, we were completely locked out of the home and left standing in 95-degree heat for over an hour. This was especially dangerous because my nephew has cystic fibrosis and should not be exposed to that kind of heat. Hours passed before we heard from the owner or Evolve, and we were only able to get inside because the cleaning lady shared her personal code with us—something that should never have been necessary.Evolve later blamed low batteries in the lock for the issue, but the cleaner’s code worked just fine, so that explanation doesn’t hold up. Even more concerning, Evolve apparently has no access to the home, which is absolutely unacceptable for a professional management company. Their lack of support and communication was appalling.Once inside, the problems continued. There was an overwhelming smell of perfume or cleaning products that was so strong we still smell it on our dogs even after getting home. There is only one TV in the entire house, located in the living room, and no extra bedding or sheets were provided for the pull-out sofa. The kitchen was also poorly stocked—missing even basic items.We had hoped to use the hot tub in the evenings, but there was very little information on how to operate it, and despite multiple attempts, we were never able to get it to work.We expected better.
