Get what you pay for!!!

When I booked the two rooms I reserved them as two rooms each with a king bed. When we arrived we were given two rooms with double queen beds. When I went to the counter to let the guy know he said “We ran out of rooms with king beds and you’re getting the same price”. How is it that I can book and pay for the rooms that I wanted and they were not available upon arrival?? I should have gotten what I booked and if those rooms were no longer available they should not have been on the website.
