The location was perfect! Being right on the water was exactly as described and so convenient with having kids wanting to be on the beach nonstop. The sunrises and sunsets were perfection. Truly a gem.

Overall fantastic trip!

Overall, the listing was accurate in regards to layout, bed, spaces, etc. The kitchen was very well designed and well equipped. Balcony views are gorgeous. The carpeting on the stairs and bedrooms is old and should be removed. The master bedroom bed (the bedroom with ocean view) needs to be replaced- very uncomfortable. For the price we’d have expected those two things to be better. Carpeting grossed me out. Otherwise great trip!!!!!

2023 family vacation

The location of this property is fantastic!! Such a wonderful view and right on the beach. The walk from the condo to the beach was super short which made beach going with 3 small kids easy. The property itself was nicely furnished and clean. The layout worked well for our family and the dining table was large enough to accommodate all 7 of us. Would definitely recommend this property!

Family Fun!

We stayed for spring break and although the weather was cold then hot (literal extremes), we had a blast! The condo was clean and location to the beach and indoor pool/clubhouse was great! We would definitely recommend this location for those with children. Check in and check out was a breeze as well (not having to visit the office was definitely a plus)! We hope to be able to book again in the future! Thank you for having us!

The condo was well appointed. Plenty of dishes and cool ware. Comfortable couch and large dining table. The beds were ok. Did not receive proper size bed linen, even after requesting the exact size. The rental company Sea Coast Rentals was relentless with daily text and or email. I ask them to stop sending them. This rental company also required you to bring and did not supply any: toilet paper, bath soap, dish soap, trash bags. We also had to make our own beds at check-in and was required to strip all the beds at check out. The property was not that clean. We found the whole process, not relaxing at all and the last thing you wanted do when you’re on vacation.

Great family trip!

The house was literally right on the beach! Spacious and clean! We appreciated the private balconies and the closed garage storage for beach supplies. About 10 minute drive to restaurants in Carolina beach. The beach was uncrowded which we loved. Highly recommend!

Another Great Stay

Ocean Dunes at Kure Beach is a quiet end of the island. The condos are comfortable and the beach is clean and very walkable, all the way to the pier. This was our second stay in Kure with family in the area and we will likely be back.

The house and area were absolutely perfect. Full kitchen, tons of balcony seating and space, and steps from the beach! I watched the sunrise from our bed every morning!

Sibling vacation

We could not have ask for a better place to stay, plenty of room for the 5 adults,very clean.. one of the siblings was overwhelmed at the beautiful view of the ocean (he had never been to the ocean before) and he is 71 yrs young the neighbors were very quite and it was a very peaceful time..thank you

Spacious patio for the win

June 2021: We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Dunes 1502 with 4 adults, our 5 year old and 11 month old. Location: 9/10. Under 60 seconds to be on the beach, which was low and flat, giving the kids plenty of room to splash in not-too-deep water, and created some tidal pools. Not crowded either, though the 5 year old made a few friends. At the coquina outcrop nearby we saw dozens of tiny crabs and a sea urchin. Gorgeous sunrises, and even caught a couple sunsets. 3 minute walk to the outdoor pool (often busy, only 1 poolside umbrella, so we went near mealtimes). Only real downside was the unseen offshore coquina that cut my boogie boarding time short Interior: 8/10. The patio was a huge draw, great views and often all 6 of us were out there with room to spare, in chairs that were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, we found everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. SmartTVs in each room was a nice touch but we barely turned them on--it wasnt until the last day that we figured out how to use the Spectrum cable via the AppleTV. But beware any early risers, the floor on the main level cracks and pops loud enough to wake kids in the bedroom Service: 7/10. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly and helpful, and the small issues we had on arrival (wrong door code, wrong sheet sizes, toilet wouldnt flush) were resolved quickly. But several things seemed to change in the last few days before arrival--suddenly needed a copy of my drivers license, check-in time was 4 PM, then it was "4 to 6 PM, wait for a text" (ultimately a non-issue, it was ready at 2 PM), and then we were notified the day before arriving that pest control would be spraying indoors where our 11 month old would be crawling. Overall, a pretty great spot. The condo is in good shape and well equipped. Easy drive to Carolina Beach boardwalk (thankfully, as we found 0 pizza places that would deliver, thwarting our Saturday post-arrival dinner plan). We didn't use the indoor pool or exercise center but it was nice to know they were there, if weather had been worse. I would book it again.

Amazing location and wonderful condo!

Absolutely wonderful property that is incredibly well maintained and accommodating. Perfect location only a few steps away from the beach and with beach areas that were not crowded the week before 4th of July weekend. All around a great value vacation property!!
