This was the most unusual place I've stayed at in awhile. I enjoyed it, but it's quirky. The room was small, but worked out just fine. The tv worked, as did the ceiling fan. They were pet friendly, which was the big sell for me. You really felt like you were staying in a hotel from the early 20th century, but that's not a criticism. The stairs creaked, the hallway was narrow and I wound my way with 3 right turns on the second floor. The lobby was a legitimate front parlor. I never saw anyone from the staff. They left my key, with my name, at the unattended box at the front door. I left the key there in the morning. I would stay there again if coming through town. Thanks.
