This is a truly magical place. Tucked between tropical jungle and a stunning beach is a little oasis called Klong Jark Bungalows. There my husband and I became members of a family and our departure ended with tears and hugs. I'm not normally someone who wants a lot of interaction with staff and things at hotels, I hate the feeling of being waited on. So when we figured out we were literally the only guests at the place, (Covid low season a large storm had just passed through) I worried we'd feel a little awkward. This couldn't be further from the case. Sue and her friends and family (and cats!) were absolutely there for us whenever we needed anything (more linens, renting scooters, arranging our ferry back to Krabi, breakfast, day trip ideas.) and left us alone when we wanted. We soon realized we wanted to be with her and her kids all the time though and spent most of our time lounging in the restaurant area looking out at the beach. I could see that someone who is used to fancy hotels might find these Bungalows basic, but they are more than comfortable- we had air conditioning, hot water, plenty of linens and a comfy bed. It felt like our own little beach cabin. For reference we had an ocean view bungalow with AC and an attached bathroom. I think others might be even more basic and I still think they would be great. The little porch with a hammock and table is where we spent a lot of our time and it was like living in a dream.

Skønt ophold. Simple men velfungerende hytter og fantastisk service i receptionen af den altid smilende og hjælpsomme Sue. Tilbragte 2 uger på stedet, nok længere end de fleste, og kunne godt have ønsket lidt hyppigere rengøring af hytten, men alt i alt en virkelig dejlig oplevelse.

The bungalows are located right on the beach at a calm and beautiful cove. A perfect place for a wonderful family vacation. Sue is an amazing host, supported by her team she makes sure you have the best stay. You can enjoy some of the best food in the island at the restaurant hotel, rent a scooter or book a tour with the confidence that Sue will give you the best price. Надеюсь, что отзывы читают не только гости, но и хозяева... Ребята, поменяйте свои фото, они очень унылые и не соответствуют действительности. А ваша действительность прекрасна. У вас там рай на земле: ярко, просторно, уютно, дико, вкусная еда и супер бар с супер барменом-меломаном, который включает вечерами отличную музыку и разливает чудесные напитки. Но глядя на фото думаешь: "Ну, ладно, поживу в этом унылом краю пару-тройку дней..." В действительности всё гораздо лучше. Кстати, отличный пляж, песок, без камней даже при отливах.

Beautiful beach just in front of the hostal. The food of the restaurant is really good, normal prices. Excellent location, that part of the island is beautiful, the only thing is that you should rent a motorbike because its far from the rest of the restaurants and stuff. But renting a motorbike is a good recommendation not matter where you stay. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Great beach away from the main tourist area, it’s righr on the beach and it’s a family business, you can get every meal from their restaurant. Our family room had two huge beds, our own bathroom, simple and unpretentious. 3 nights for CAN $100

Best staff and amazing atmosphere

Our stay was amazing, the staff is attentive and Sue is incredible. Anything you need or want to do Sue provides. The beach is beautiful, secluded and quiet. The bungalows are perfect for what we wanted, to sleep by the beach comfortably. There are nets to keep bugs out of the bed and we had no troubles. We will be staying there again in the future.

Quiet little paradise

Lovely place with a beautiful beach right there on your door steps. Not too many people but just enough to be comfortable. Good beach for swimming and sun bathing and also some snorkeling. The staff and the owner are super friendly and caring, they helped us when one of us got sick etc. Just a lovely place, please go there! It's a little far down south but the motorbikes are very cheap to rent and easy to drive (i learned there).

Die Bungalows sind ausreichend groß und haben eine kleine Terrasse. Die Einrichtung ist einfach und schlicht. Die Eigentümerin und das komplette Team ist sehr zuvorkommend und super nett. Das Essen ist sehr vielseitig und schmeckt köstlich. Außerdem gibt es noch eine kleine, gemütliche Bar. Wir kommen gerne wieder .
