Our family of 11 adults and 5 children enjoyed a week long stay at the house over 4th of July. The house was beautiful and, more importantly, very clean. Comfort is important on a vacation and this place had a lot to offer – the beds were amazing, the kitchen and balcony chairs were incredibly comfortable and the recliners and couches were perfect places to relax. The hot tub, ping pong table and arcade games kept the family entertained along with the table games. The kitchen is well stocked with 2 of almost everything and the owner even gets you started with paper towels, soap and garbage bags. The bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, shampoo and body wash which is a plus. She thought of most things one would need on vacation. The complex is wonderful, safe and people were friendly. The outdoor pool is a good size and kept us entertained – again, it’s very safe, gated with a code.
As for surrounding area, the drive to Branson is very quick and easy. There is little available in the town of Kimberling – the meat in the grocery store over the bridge is awesome! Loved people at Duckies. As for restaurants, there are only a couple in the area. We were able to get a delivery from Target but DoorDash/Instacart were not available. Pizza delivery is only until 8pm. The lake is beautiful – not a party atmosphere – but was the highlight of our trip. Rented a boat at Kimberling Marina - look up Captain Jake.
