The view of the bay is outstanding! We saw whales from the balcony on several occasions. We opened the sliding doors the minute we got there, and didn't close them until we left. Pretty birds joined us on the balcony for breakfast every morning. Temperature was perfect!(The screen doors are a bit cantankerous, but that's typical of screen doors in an ocean environment.)The household has two beach chairs, and a good size cooler for picnics. There is nice artwork throughout the condo. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped for any cooking you want to do. From the condo, It's not easily walkable into town. There is no shoulder or sidewalk on S. Kihei road at that point. There is no direct sunrise or sunset view from the balcony (at least in early January), so you have to get off your keister and walk down to the beautiful lawn if you want to watch the sunset. The TV's are not "smart" (just have basic cable) so if you want to stream Netflix after a day of snorkeling, you'll need to bring a Firestick. There's a very nice barbecue area with Tiki torches that are lit every evening, and several picnic tables. Would have used it but it's a bit daunting to drag all the barbecue accoutrements down there. The pool area is also very nice, and was never crowded the week we were there. The beach is okay. Just a short walk from the condo, not very wide, and a bit rocky, but it's not far if you feel like taking a dip in the ocean. All told, an excellent experience!
