Beautiful grounds, clean facility, and friendly people. Small Resort that's maintained very well! Lots of nice views! Will book there again.Very tropical with a real sense you are in Hawaii. Only two buildings. One faces the ocean and the other faces the pool area with tropical views. Some have views of the ocean as well.

Fantastic property!!! A/C worked fabulous, unit was cold when we got there! Loved the pool/hot tub/bbq pit area. The beach by the hotel is not the best, but it is a beach, it was my very least favorite beach, we drove to other ones. Enjoyed the washer and dryer, tv was hard to operate. QUIET unit, couldn’t hear any neighbors, very well kept up. We loved it!!!

Very comfortable beds or we were super tired of going around and slept like a baby. :) Unit was showing the age a little but had everything you will need. Most importantly, A/C was working great and the view was amazing.

The property was nice. The room was big enough for a family of 4. The pool was small for the property. Not enough amenities for families to do around the property. I like though that they had washer and dryer inside your room.

Property was spacious, free parking is great. Complicated tv remote / room fan / lights system. Pillows quite flat, and area under pull-out couch clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a long while. Very very windy in this area, feels like it’s in a wind tunnel. Pool is small but convenient, and it was especially helpful having beach chairs in room available for use.

Beach was mediocre. Property is old and needs updates. Charges resort fee of $23/day but can’t tell you why they charge it. Tennis courts are unkept and tennis racquets and balls are old and barely useable. Beach towels must be washed by you. So why charge a resort fee?

Schooner Resort was a nice albeit slightly dated property. Between the property and the ocean is a very active public park that has tennis and paddleball courts. What appears to be a local paddleball club keeps the courts full every morning and they are fun to watch. The full kitchen is well stocked and our unit included beach chairs, a cooler and lots of beach towels. The beach by the property isn't the greatest beach on the island though, so be prepared to drive to one of the other wonderful Maui beaches with those supplies!
