Incredible views of beach and sunsets from our lanai. Nicely remodeled, very clean! Hosts are very responsive to suggestions. No air conditioning in the main living area, but both bedrooms have individual units. Older complex, best views!!! Resident manager, Lisa Sue was wonderful!!!

Across From Beach

Our stay was nice (its Maui) but there were quite a few things we were not happy with at this property. Although your view is across from the beach you have power lines and a parking lot in front of the patio/lanai view so it takes the beauty out of it a bit. There were many cars driving by with very loud music playing. It did not affect our sleep because the bedrooms are back of unit, BUT the very loud portable AC units and clicking fans did! We were grateful for the AC though since most of the units do not have them. The unit was clean however it lacked simple items that almost all other short term vacation rentals have. No sugar, coffee, barely any spices, etc. The shampoo/conditioner/soap provided was the smallest tube I have ever seen. We stayed for 10 days and were 4 people so a teaspoon of soap was definitely not enough! They also did not provide extra items if you need more of something like paper towels or detergent. We never asked but it would have been nice if it was there in the unit. The complex is located across from a park where many unhoused individuals reside/hang out. The property itself is dated, but unit is somewhat updated. Property manager is nice however our kids did get talked to for quietly playing marco polo during the daytime. Apparently it is not allowed to be played. It felt like there were a lot of rules that are not necessary. 6pm-8pm is quiet time to dine on patios however often times no one was out on their lanai. Bed were comfortable.

Loved the location! Perfect to get out and explore!

My family of 5 had a lovely stay. We had some concerns about the cleanliness of the unit upon arrival, but management was wonderful with their response and timeliness to fix the issues. Thank you! The unit was a little tight for our family of 5 (3 tween/teenagers) but to sleep it was fine. It would have been nice to have AC throughout the unit, but it seems that AC is not the norm for Maui?? The location was wonderful - we could explore every which direction with ease. Having the beach directly across the street for early morning or late day swims/snorkeling was great. .

Beautiful View, Great Location

The condo was a perfect getaway for a group of adult friends. The extra bed in the 2nd room, and sofa bed gave us all our own space which was fantastic! The extra chairs and towels were nice for the beach, although most chairs are in need of a little repair, they worked just fine for the beach just across the street. There were a few little things that could use some extra cleaning, but I will let the host know so they could be remedied. All in all it was a great stay. The property was nice and welcoming!

Perfect Location

This was a perfect location for us. Walking distance to many restaurants and close driving to many great beaches in Wailea and Makena areas.The only negative is that Kihei Road is a busy and sometimes noisy street. So leaving sliders open at night is difficult.

Excellent stay, would stay again.

Maui Parkshore was great for our family. Location can’t be beat - right across the street from the beach. Kids loved the pool. Manager was friendly. The building is older, so it’s not fancy but it is well maintained and clean. South Kehei road is busy during the day so there is traffic noise but it didn’t bother us. And things quiet down at night. The unit is fantastic. It has been updated, as shown in the photos. The bathrooms are older but well maintained and clean, just not fancy. You hear the waves from the kitchen and can see the sun set from the balcony. Appreciated the communication with Maui Vacation rentals as well. They were responsive and helpful when we had questions. Overall, would definitely recommend. We hope to stay again!

A dream come true

Communication with the host prior to and during our stay was excellent. As we had questions, responses were clear and prompt. The unit has a wonderful lanai directly across from the beach. The AC units in the bedrooms kept the unit comfortable for sleeping. Although the main living space gets a bit warm in the late afternoon and early evening, we spent most of our time on the lanai anyway...very workable. Maui Parkshores is an older condo building, but the unit itself has been renovated. The pool and common areas are also in great shape. The beach gear and towels in the unit were a great help. I can't leave a review without mentioning the location...its perfect! Right in the middle of anywhere you might want to go..whether Makena Beach to the south or a drive up to the West Side. You can walk to restaurants and shops and a great snorkeling spot and beach for swimming right across the street. The hosts were great, the unit is very nice, and we would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

This is the second time we have stayed at this VRBO (the first time was 5 years ago before its recent renovation), which is all you really need to know. This VRBO has an amazing oceanfront view, is across the street from the Kamaole III beach, and is also walking distance to the Kihei boat ramp (where many diving and snorkeling boats launch). It is also a short drive from some of the top shore snorkeling locations in Wailea, and relatively centrally located if you intend to travel to Haleakala, the Road to Hana, or West Maui. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful week in Maui

The condo was perfect for our vacation. Being directly across the street from the beach, we could walk over multiple times a day. The condo has all the amenities you need. Beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, snorkels, etc. The property was very quiet at night even with the main road out front. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Our only suggestion would be to add a smaller fry pan. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here.

Great stay in great location

This condo was nicely finished and furnished, also kept very clean. My favorite part was the location. It is right across the street from the park, which has a good beach for playing in the waves. It is just south of the busiest part of S Kihei Rd. So close enough to walk to all the fun, but far enough away that it wasn't super congested. We enjoyed the rather large lanai every morning and evening - great views of the Electric Bike Parade that comes through Sundays and Wednesdays! The shower in the shared bathroom did not get hot enough for our liking, but the shower in the bathroom attached to the primary bedroom did, so most showers were taken there. We also appreciated the assortment of beach items provided. Would book here or with this property management company again!

Great Stay in a Fabulous Location

Watching whales and the sun set from the lanai was the highlight for my family on a daily basis. This condo is well outfitted to cover a family of four for a day at the beach, which is just across the street, and to cook meals and sleep very comfortably. The AC units were great to cool the bedrooms but also were great for white noise to drown out the roosters. B-) Had one minor issue but the friendliness and quick response from the property manager/owner helped to find a resolution and made the incident a blip in a rather perfect vacation.

No hot water

Our group consisted of four friends so we needed a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. The location and condo itself were nice, but we had a lot of issues with the bathrooms, especially the shower situation. We had one shower that was never more than lukewarm…it was impossible to wash your hair in there unless you could handle shivering. One shower did get hot water more often, but it seemed hit or miss. It was pretty awful and ruined our vacation to an extent. There was no “quick shower” after beach day to go out for dinner. Instead, we had to plan way ahead and hope the water cooperated. We had to basically use one shower only. Could have just saved money on a condo with one bathroom. Very frustrating. I reported this to the manager on day 2 (we realized it was an issue that morning, but were on Hana trip so couldn’t communicate) and got a response back saying “it’s how it’s supposed to work”-something to do with the solar set up. I’d stay there again only if they fix this issue and gave us $500 credit for our next stay.

Beautiful location

The suite was clean, the view and sounds of the ocean were amazing. One issue with the amount of bedding we needed that was resolved quickly. Would love to come back. We used up all the space with 4 kids but doable since we were outside most of the time!

Great hosts but not so great apartment

From the time of booking hosts had been in constant communication. They not only provided precise guidelines but also additional information that is useful as first time visitor to Maui. I believe that hosts are great but their maintenance team is not doing their job properly. Here is the list of issues 1. Surfaces were dustly 2. Towels: Please always have white towels, dark green color towels doesnt inspire confidence in the cleanlyness 3. Showerhead was leaking and didnt have any pressure 4. No hot water, only luke warm water through out the apartment 5. Biggest of all, dishwasher smelled bad and plates and cups had those same bad smell. We washed few times, but the smell was too stubborn. We informed host about it but nothing was done during our stay 6. Airconditionare are portable and they make a lot of sound. We used them to cool the room but had to turn off during night so that we can sleep. 7. Vaccum cleaner and Hair dryer were very dirty, didnt feel like touching them. Again, I strongly suggest to hosts to pay a personal visit to the apartment, their maintenance crew have been skimping on their work. Upgrade showerhead, and use white towels. and please clean/replace dishwasher and plates. The apartment wasnt cheap so anyone looking for good times during their well deserved Hawaii vacation shouldnt have to experience such a messy apartment.
