Perfect stay for a group

This has been the best stay for us during our 2 week trip around the UK. We were well aware that there are stairs in the property at the time of booking, and everyone in our party of 7 was still very willing to haul our luggage up and down cos the property is just absolutely stunning, comfortable, and well equipped. It's quite the memorable experience.

Highly recommend this property in heart of Keswick. The property is finished to a very high standard immaculate and ideal for a stay with family or friends. The 2 parking permits that are allocated for the duartion of stay with choice of car park was great. Don't have any negative things to say. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful house, perfect location

We visited the Eyrie in May 2026 and had a perfect stay. The house is beautifully presented, all the rooms are spacious with a great ensuite. Lounge, diner and kitchen are well equipped and well laid out. The house itself is within a 5 minute walk of most of the pubs and restaurants so there is little more you could ask for. Comms with Keswick cottages was also great - the team were very helpful. Finally the app is very useful and contains most of what you need to have a good time in Keswick. If you book the Eyrie, you'll surely have a great stay!

Stunning property

Beautiful property set in the perfect, central location with some lovely views of Latrigg and Skiddaw. Extremely comfortable and well furnished with high quality furniture throughout. We all loved and would stay again!

Amazing Stay in The Eyrie

Beautiful, large property with designer level upgrades and decor; kitchen dining and living rooms all spectacular. Four Bedrooms are all roomy and comfortable, three with full en-suite baths. Perfect base for exploring the Lakes District area with dining and shopping options a short walk from the property.

sumptuous style close to everything

Great house four up to 4 couples. Kitchen is well equipped, though the teapot is a little small. Dining room can easily accommodate 10 in case you have some guests Sitting room is comfortable and has the most amazing photo of a valley. Makes you want to go there. Bedrooms all lovely with great en suites.

We are a family of 8. The location is great and near to the lake and hiking paths. The house is equipped with everything a family would need and more. Definitely we will book this cottage next year.

Beautiful cottage

The cottage was in a fabulous location within walking distance of virtually everything. It was clean and tidy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped, the only thing that we thought they could do with is a larger teapot.

House & Location

High spec throughout. Useful all rooms having on suite. Impressive decor. No garden but park close by. Great location for town. No parking on site means transporting luggage but the car parks are close by. All in all a very pleasant holiday at a well equipped property.

Long weekend at the Eyrie

This is an outstanding place to stay in the heart of Keswick. Furnished to a very high standard with very comfortable beds and a home-from-home feel. Great for adult groups. Over 4 floors so lots of stairs. Fabulous views and a telescope on the top floor. We had an issue with one of the remote controlled blinds but this was taken care of immediately by the support team, who were excellent.

Family holiday

We stayed at the Eryrie for a week for my daughters 30th birthday, wow what a place, the house is huge and amazing , views from every window , lovely base in a perfect location, stones through away from the shops and restaurants, gorgeous park just opposite, most of our group went off climbing different mountains every day , while the others still had plenty too do , bus station only a 5 minute walk , so easy to take a bus all over , the Lake District is a very beautiful place to be , would highly recommended the Eyrie , we will be back

A lovely stay at the Eyrie

We stayed at The Eyrie early June 2026 as a family of 5 adults. The property location is perfect - close to ample parking and right next to the town centre, which was buzzing with lovely shops, cafes, wine & cocktail bars and lovely places to eat. The views from The Eyrie are stunning. The Eyrie had so much space and was very well presented. Lovely, comfy beds and all facilities great. Everything thought of. The only thing I would mention (this was not a problem for us) but for anyone with low mobility or that struggles with stairs, this property probably isn’t for you. The property is on 4 floors, so many stairs to climb when arriving and unloading luggage etc. couldn’t seem to get the blinds to work properly either and the water never really ran hot enough to enjoy a bath on the top floor bathroom. The property was lovely and plenty of comfy furniture for us all to enjoy together. The would stay at The Eyrie again and I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you for allowing us to stay

Beautifully furnished home in excellent location between the town parks and centre. The ornaments and fittings in the Eyrie are fantastic. Our only issue was the lack of a spare roll of toilet tissue.

Fabulous place

I really don’t want to write a review because then everyone else will know about this place , Fantastic , immaculate , really well equipped house , I was a bit worried not having a garden with 3 dogs but the park being 30 seconds walk away made up for that. Parking was free and a minutes walk away as was the town centre. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher , I let Keswick cottages know , more for the next guest and they had someone there within the hour to fix it . Can’t recommend the Eyrie or Keswick cottages enough , We will be back

5* would recommend!!

This is a breathtaking property. From the moment you step in to the three story house your expectations are surpassed. The space is perfect for 8 people to come together and also to have their own privacy . The beds are fantastic, and for everyone to have their own private bathroom was a real treat .The penthouse suite also has views from the bath tub as you take a soak . Every room has great views of the mountains . In the evening you are literally 2 minutes away from the town centre, its so convenient . We have been coming to the lakes for many years but this is by far the best property we have stayed in .
