We checked in at 5 o’clock on a Thursday evening. At 8:30 we decided to get the kids into the showers for bedtime. Ice cold water. After speaking with Anne at the front desk, several times who was speaking with the manager, they decided that maintenance would fix the hot water the next day. Some guest that I were talking to had the same issues. In fact, many mini guests had the same issues. One guest told me that they hadn’t had hot water since 10 o’clock on Thursday morning. we took cold showers. The next day we worked with Lamont at the front desk and it was much different. We were refunded some money for our stay and he was very understanding and professional. I’d have to say the night crew needs quite a bit of training. by the way, I read the reviews for the hotel and for the past four years they’ve been having issues with dozens upon dozens of reviews, saying no hot water. Avoid this place. Or bring your own hot water.

The room was clean and spacious. The hot water took a really long time in the shower and my husband had to take a cold shower. The toilet flushed a little wonky. But overall the room was nice and super convenient. We had a couple’s getaway with dinner at 801 Chophouse and drinks at Verdigris. No driving needed.

Best aspect of this hotel is its convenient location. Otherwise, the facility is an $80/night lodging masquerading as one worthy of $120/night. The lack of any closet space and inconsistent hot water in the shower were especially troubling, making this hotel unworthy of the Marriott Bonvoy brand.
