This is a great home for a family with dogs. It was clean and spacious. There were lots of games and activities and the kitchen was well stocked. We took advantage of the amenities including the indoor pool at the wellness center and the hiking trails. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. We had trouble with the hot tub being slow to heat (it got there but took longer than expected) and the hosts offered assistance and plan to get it checked out too after we left.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming rental, nestled quaintly in the woods. The setting is peaceful, quiet, and absolutely lovely. Perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. The home itself is cozy and well-kept, with thoughtful touches throughout. Waking up surrounded by nature was such a treat. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return!

The home was exactly what we were looking for! It was comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms, even supplying a first aid kit which came in handy. The backyard was securely fenced with no holes and the fire pit worked great. The game room was also a boredom buster in the evenings. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. It was perfect for a little weekend get away, my dog and friends had a blast!

We loved the location of this rental. 8,000 acres of gorgeous woodland with all sorts of activities. We mostly took advantage of exploring the numerous hiking trails with our dogs everyday, but there's also a huge lake, a pool, golf course, recreation courts and probably other amenities that we never saw. The property itself was clean and comfortable. We cooked numerous meals with ease in the kitchen and enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets on the back deck. Communication with the owner was outstanding. 5 stars. We would love staying here again

This is an incredible home in Big Canoe. Our family enjoyed every minute. The game room in the basement kept our teenagers occupied. The deck overlooking the woods was so peaceful. The trail in the back of the house led down to a serene stream and the owners even had 2 chairs to sit in by the stream to contemplate the peaceful moment. Every need was met in the well supplied kitchen. Easy access to the trail heads (highly recommend the lower Falls trail). We will 100% be back to this lovely home. The host, Frank, was simply amazing. 5 stars!!!

The home was very nice. We were going through mold remediation at our house and they were very flexible with letting us add additional days as we didn't know exactly when we could get back in our home very accommodating would definitely rent from them again. Even our dog enjoyed it.

Fabulous vacation home! We spent 2 wonderful weeks there! Amazing response from owners at all times. I’m a foodie and the kitchen has everything you need. There might have been only 2 of us, but great home for family/friends!

Our stay was perfect! Host sent us details of the house and check in and check out process before hand. Was very easy to communicate with. House was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The host was kind and had a nice note and a bottle of wine for us. That was very much appreciated. The host sent us a list of helpful information for the area which was really helpful. The house location was fantastic, was close to the marina and beach club. Loved how private the house and location was. We loved the game room and was just a cozy house. Would 100! percent stay here again and would recommend this house to our friends and family.

Great Family Getaway

We loved our stay at Big Canoe! The home was a perfect fit for our family and our kids loved the cabin bunk beds. The owners thought of everything to ensure our family could make the best use of the space. From a well-appointed game room with a collection to several games, extra cute things for our doggies, and a relaxing master sweet, it proved to be the best space for each of us to relax and connect. We also loved the fitness center and dog park. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer.
